JADE IS THE WINNER for all categories (vocals, presence, performances and creativity).

Performance wise. Little Mix are a force together all elements of performance and vocals come at full top quality notches. Individually you get to start understanding what main strengths and slight weaknesses each carry.
So far what I gather is Jade is probably going to be the perfect hybrid of Little Mix regarding vocal and performance with choreography in a live setting, but have to see some first to fully lock that in.
Leigh-Anne can dance up a storm, so performance is not her issue per say but mixing a vocal with choreography is. Her vocals have come a long way but the on stage stamina is where she has to find balance. All about knowing when to place a live vocal and rest then let pre record take parts then fit back into live without sounding gassed out. More lives she does the more she'll have it tailor made. Leigh doesn't have raw depth warm tones but superb pop style vocals with strong belting techniques and riffs. With the right songs she has huge potential to be one of those IT girls.
Perrie is THE VOICE! Good level dancer also, but of the four she was probably 4th, but still WAY better than many in the industry.
I get why the team not pushing her in that lane per say, but I agree the songs so far feel a bit too safe. Nice, cool, relatable lyrically, but nothing that standouts. It's too generic. Give her some edge and presence, so her vocals can shine. With her voice, she doesn't even have to be the dancer girl, so either let her have her powerhouse Adele ballad moment or give her a edgy rock pop elements to make her global presence more present.
She's the youngest, yet feels the oldest, even with that hunger element.
She's soulful, Pop, rock, country. So much to unlock. If thinking of a direction then maybe go a lane like the artist Pink did.
Jesy wants to be R&B so badly but there's a lot to her tone, that I wouldn't want her to abandon those deep pop style vocals and jazzy elements she's capable of bringing. Hard reset and hopefully lessons learned on the well publicised issues. Hope one day the girls mend but even if not Jesy is talented in her own right.

As a Little Mix stan, I really appreciated and agreed with so many of the takes in this video, very well thought through and explained! I agree that Jade had the best debut by far, but for me Leigh Anne's musical direction is more my taste. I really wished she had put My Love out first, even without the Ayra Starr feature but with her own bridge. It was a much stronger song, video, sound and concept to DSL. In that case, Jade and Leigh would've been neck and neck with their debuts. But at least we had Leigh's EP as a follow up, which was amazing.

Interesting takes. 1st singles Jesy right intention, wrong delivery.
Leigh-Anne right aesthetically, wrong single choice to impact a global audience and British market wise, a tad too left, as garage genre wasn't the in thing. Part of me liked that as she brought it a fresh feel but not what I would choose for a debut but nice bop. She should have done my love 1st.
Perrie just too safe and lacks showcasing her main strength as a singer. Song has global pop appeal elements, but drowned in the sense that it's similar to other popular songs, so no room for it to standout.
Jade did come across very Brit-Pop with AOMD but gave it the boldness for global market appeal to at least put eyes on her as an artist, and that's the key. Enjoyed the chaos of ballad vs raw dance pop and the message resonates, once you understand the message. Only thing I would have liked is the message to be understood straight away sonically without that brilliant visual because it's powerful messaging about the industry!

Leigh-Anne and Jade are thriving. Personally I'm more of a Leigh-Anne stan. I think her voice is beautiful and soft. People refuse to acknowledge her talent and I'm sure I know why ✊🏾 Leigh-Anne is doing what works for her and her music is amazing, but some people are just racist (which I have noticed before even becoming a Leigh-Anne stan) or so far up Perrie and Jade's butt.

Leigh-Anne has a really lovely, clear voice and I love her EP but I don't think the two singles she released before it were the best fit for her vocal tone and style...but I think she's come to a place where she's more sure of herself and her style and what her sound is and I'm excited to see her continue thriving in the lane she's found.
Not loving everything she does doesn't mean anyone's up the other girls' butts or that they're racist. Sometimes people just don't vibe with someone's sound. Especially the old LM fans who are mostly used to not just pop but a very particular kind of pop; the only one whose music is in a similar lane to LM atm is Perrie and even for her, the core LM fans are upset that she isn't just giving them big ballads with 100 huge vocal moments.

@@OpenMuso Okay well, that's your opinion. Her first two singles were still great. I see enough to know that Leigh-Anne deals with racism, even in the Little Mix fandom. If you don't see it that's not my problem. I see how she's treated and I refuse to not talk about it just because people want to claim that racism isn't the case with her. It might not be the case for everyone, but it's definitely for a lot. I don't care about Perrie or her music, I also see enough of what her fans say about Leigh-Anne.

I have literally seen Little Mix fans bring up her race though, so that's what I'm talking about. Once again, if you don't see it then it's not my problem.

Well of course Leigh Anne comes out on top. I get what you’re saying about jades performance not counting because it wasn’t a real live performance like on stage with a crowd no do overs etc like Leigh Anne and perrie. However you saying Leigh Anne isn’t a natural performer makes zero sense as besides jade she easily is the most natural performer and her voice is definitely powerful. You’re going by tone and that’s not the definition of powerful it’s just your tone of voice. Leigh Anne has always sang all the high notes with perrie so saying she isn’t natural or a powerhouse is dumb. She has no need to prove anything to anyone anymore she’s done that years ago and has shown she is solo material. Perrie has not as she is the one flopping. There is more to this than having excellent vocals, you need authenticity, writing skills, artistry, personality, great choreography and music that people connect with and Leigh has done all of that. I would say jade too but she hasn’t performed yet and only has two songs.

    Choreography dance break ranking
1.) My Love by Leigh Anne (better executed in a ball point formation)
2.) Boys by Jesy (technically more intricate and physical than My Love but the live version on Jingle Ball is really watered down) (The BTS music video dance break with just the choreography would've put this song to number one)

I just think she is the full package from vocals , versatility and agility , choreography, artistry and writing. She just has it. Jade I think the same accept her music taste is not for me. She only has two songs and I’m already over the gay club anthems and party electronic music. It’s like she is almost hiding behind the loud music and not letting her vocals shine. Jades doing the best music by far, she has a clear vision and I’m thrilled for her she’s dedicated very talented she truly deserves the success
Perries music ( as a Perrie Stan ) has been a disappointment for me I actually loved forget about us Tears was meh could of been better but the new single snippet teaser sounds promising but we shall see she’s still my favourite vocalist and is incredibly charamastic onstage and I love that for her she doesn’t give me the energy that she wants to be a Main pop girl and that’s ok she’s not desperate to reach to the top and I’ve come to accept that if she’s happy then we should be for her. Leigh Anne isn’t my cup of tea vocally her voice has never done anything for her although stealing love is a great song and I do enjoy it but she’s not for me IMO
And Jesy… I don’t see her coming back from the controversy which is sad overall but her path was her path that’s the route it took and it cost her everything although I wanna mention she’s the only one out the 4 girls who could deliver true R&B music; she doesn’t have a pop voice like Jade or Leigh Anne she has a cool tone that genuinely suits that genre and that’s what she should focus on

Like you repeated after me, jade has heavy competition and it doesn’t matter how good someone is you have to either sadly go viral like Tyla did who now is having an amazing career or work your butt off like Sabrina who took 10 years to get this spotlight. She had to find a song that was a hit with not just her fans but the world. Jade has to go viral or fight for years and years to get known and stand out. She isn’t doing anything chapel or Charlie aren’t doing so idk if people will become tired of that trend or not. Leigh Anne like I said has more wiggle room for American success than jade and perrie because no matter the genre, RnB, Afro beats, ampiano, reggae… it’s not as competitive as the pop world and that’s just the hard truth. Sucks for jade and perrie but it’s not impossible. Leigh Anne’s only competition is trying to get known more in America and get rid of the generic pop girl group stereotype people have put on her especially in the blacks d Hispanic community.

What the heck are you talking about? Leigh Anne had the second most powerful voice of the group easily and she is definitely a natural performer. She to me is the best solo of the group so far. Her music , vocals and choreography is phenomenal. Jade is my favorite but her music is ok not what I was hoping for . She is a great performer. Perrie has flopped so far and great vocals clearly won’t carry her giving these generic songs to us. I hope her third single eats. Glad y’all think Leigh Anne wins this round but her ep and second single my love eats hard and her choreography was better than anything little mix did. The dude was a bit overly critical of her but ended up saying she did the best anyway 🙄
