"Which rose doesnt have thorns"

The original didn't bring out the metaphor correctly. That sentence doesn't even contain the word sharpest.
Also there's other parts that doesnt make sense because it was translated literally and not as a whole.
Eg the ending part 你的控诉没有声音。it read "accusations was silent" but doesn't make sense right? That whole part(3sentences of it) should be smthg like this:
你的控诉没有声音
Your voice was silenced
(ref bg story - nobody heard him when he was bullied and now he's dead. So he was silenced either way)
却倾诉更多的真理
Yet you confide of many (hard) truths
却唤醒无数的真心
Yet you woke up countless (empathetic)hearts.
-(not "kind-hearted people". It doesnt bring out the contrast. Before, nobody cared, people werent kind to begin with, so you cant say you awaken kind people. it was his death that woke people up. That reminded ppl to be more empathetic/sympathetic.)

I take it that the altered version makes more sense than the original from what you're telling me, and thanks a whole lot.
I copied and pasted "你的控诉没有声音" and it gave me "Your complaint (voice) is silent", which is quite similar.
In my opinion I think it's a lovely metaphor, yet profound. Silence can do wonders to/for people (sometimes).

Yea... I find it kinda wasted that it reached international audience but couldnt deliver as deep of an impact as intended.
The chorus also lack the punch in translation.
I get you. I think at some point more people like you will notice the flaw and the intended message will spread, as long as you don't delete your original comment it would make a bit of difference on my end :)
