Hope the eye drops are able to get rid of that inflammation. I'm so sorry about the logistical transportation issue. Crossing the street can definitely be anxiety inducing if you glaucoma. Hope you ace that quiz!
whatever you are afraid will happen, it will happen, rather than delaying the process of it happening , why not let it come and then get used to it soon rather than getting blind later when you are all alone, that is much scarier , being blind with no one else beside you. I’m a glucauma patient as well 27years old this year , graduated from uni in accounting ,went for pilot course and got my commercial pilot license then got diagnosed . What a joke in life.
I just recently got diagnosed as well and I'm 27, the thought of going blind with no one else besides me makes me anxious. Going to the appointment on my own and having to constantly be anxious about who to bring with me for the next appointment for help is quite consuming. Not everyone would be able to help even if they wanted to is the reality that I have to accept and quickly move on from. So 2023 is the year of making new friends and connections, and it's about finding a community. Might as well laugh, right?
