If only mega clubs with sick, high tech, million dollar lighting displays like this would play awesome and interesting music (i.e 80's industrial, 80's new wave/pop, early 90's deep house/techno and alternative) instead of God awful, modern day EDM, It would be worth the ridiculous cover charge and gargantuanly priced drink prices! The price gouging COMBINED with horrible music (and generally uninteresting people) is what keeps me from going to mega clubs.

The clubs that cater to those of us with superior musical tastes (and I say this with arms folded and nose turned upward) tend to be more 'hole in the wall' joints- which definitely has it's own charms. 'NUMBERS' in Houston is pretty awesome with good lighting but nothing as extravagantly high-tech as the megaclubs of Vegas.
