I agree, some passages stop me dead. Mystified how he can come up with an accurate beautiful discription of sometimes something mundane. Easily my favorite writer. I always feel calmer after reading his stuff
Writing is an act of freedom, an act of genuine rebellion and he definitely fits these statements. He definitely grasps the spirit of the Greek Rebetiko. Chapeau l’artiste
Screen vs language ? Can literature survive in the era of internet ? Although i am very optimistic person but i think internet is the biggest threat to reading tendency....
I agree. Spelling is so important, especially in titles. Too many people corrupt the English language as it is. You'd think that writers, and even want-to-be's would at least try.
He writes so beautifully. I hate putting people on pedestals, but his writing is just so wonderful.

He is an ecstatic, hilarious, deeply watchful and compassionate writer. I can’t believe he comes up with these insanely believable worlds.

I'm so exited and I just can't hide it.
Wonderful
I love him.
Awesome!
He’s one of the best writers of our generation - I wish I could reread the marriage plot for the first time again 😭🫶🏻
