Got burned by COADM the song being so good and the album sucking, but this track is making me really hopeful this will be a low pressure, chill sounding album where he can have fun without people worrying too much about how it impacts his legacy. I hope the rest is anywhere close to as good as this one!
According to genius, the Hailey bar is a reference to the child show “Paw Patrol”. There is a character in the show named “Hailey Daily” that is a news reporter. Most likely this is from Logic watching shows with his son.
It's so perfect that Russ did a track w Logic. Russ has lately been doing exactly what Logic stepped away from rap because of (that being just legitimate inconsistency in either the song itself or the reception being off because of timing, no rollout, whatever (etc: 1) the constant stream of singles from russ which both cap out his fanbase and restricts interest in albums because there is already so much content that is hit or miss and 2) look at logic's rollouts and discography in the past, they are super close together with not enough time for excitement to build about NEW content)) and with Logic coming back this early, he couldn't have chosen a better person to help state his intent with coming back. Nothing has changed, he just wants to make more music and that's dope. Also, russ got the hate he got and still gets because he's extremely self centered as a human. Music is tight at times but the ego is too large for casual fans to participate in the artist outside of the art.
Happy to see some Logic praise Dev. I’ve seen nothing but hate on twitter because of how long Vinyl Days is gonna be, but if it’ll sound like this I’ll be ready for it 🙌💯

yeah its 30 tracks and 30 confirmed features (some are skits but most are rappers - earl sweatshirt, C Dot Castro and a few others). Fantano has a spoken feature on it too LMAO
