I live in Lincolnton NC and we hear a ghost train at night. And now we know which one..... The train comes through and the sound of it passing and the whistle is so eerie. Those people are not at rest because that train is still on its journey.
There is a track space near Black Creek in the Wilson area that if you walk the tracks late at night sometimes you will see a glowing light coming to get you down the tracks. However, if it had already been seen that night you may as well leave. Go back enough and you might get hit by that train
Also the ghost of a Uwharrie paranormal investigators club member haunts the bridge. He was killed by a real train when caught out on the bridge waiting for the ghost train. Look it up.
I just went to early station railroads last night and there was lights it couldn't have been a head or tail lights it was to high off ground my curiosity is if its someone playing a joke but there definitely a light that looks like a lantern
@@stevewhite9405 its actually not cause ive been at all three openings now some of the lights are headlights/taillights but some arent and you can tell when its in the air and not on the ground and it constantly moves around plus we brought a spotlight trying to figure out what it was and we still didnt see anything
Time is not linear, whatever we do we will experience again from the energy left behind. Some call it karma, some say you sow what you reap. It’s all the same
Personally speaking, the wreck was down to lack of maintenance, loose rails or rotten cross ties. The hobos made a very convenient, and probably mythical scapegoat. One odd question - America seems to have far more ghost trains than any other country I know - does anyone know why? And don't say its because they had far more wrecks!
Britain has plenty of haunted rail related stories, but the United States of America is obviously way bigger than most countries and has (and especially had in the past) far more rail traffic.
That's interesting Sounds cursed I always enjoy hearing the history and the paranormal events in my own state 👻 230/330 am seems to be a hour where the vortex to the paranormal opens
Statesville Native here! Train crash anniversary is on my bday, this is our biggest local ghost story here!

And every year, on the date of the accident, it runs again,as a warning to others. Plunging into the gap! Shrieking like a lost soul!

The Early Station light is cars passing over the tracks on the Brick Mill Rd. That crossing is at an angle and has a high hump

Someone should set up some trail cameras and check them throughout the year to see if they catch any real evidence .

Good idea, but someone would probably take off with it
Now let's all go to the "Train Guru" post for the theatrical version!
