This game is like a time machine; you can always go back and replay childhood memories.
i'm doing that right now. i just turned 18, i remember playing this with my older brother - who i don't see much anymore. since i started playing this at the ripe age of 7, the stash was always my favorite song from the ost. every year or so i redownload the game for fun. phase always lasts around a few days or so, nothing more. and every time, i always leave the stash open just for this song lol. i'm so glad this game made an impact to all of us :)

Pure nostalgia, i remember scrolling thru all the cool Jetpacks that i couldn't buy
man the nostalgia is real. I used to play this when I was 7 and this song was my favorite part this game is culmination of love and good work. this song not only gives me nostalgia but it also calms me down and helps me through hard times. its tune is so simple yet elegant and soothing. thank you jetpack joyride your the hero we never new we needed.

I am 15 years old and my father passed away on June 5, 2024 in a fight against brain cancer. And I remember when I was 6 years old and my father bought my first cell phone, and the first game I installed was JETPACK JOYRIDE. Before my father went to a better place I played and listened to this song, because it always reminds me of good memories with my father. THANK YOU JETPACK JOYRIDE

this is probably the most nostalgic of the tracks in the game. i remember sifting through the stash and just looking at all the descriptions for the gadgets and clothes and stuff and never having the coins to buy them, haha,,
apart from nostalgia though, i'm someone who has anxiety and this makes me feel safe and like everything's going to be okay. it's legitimately comforting and it makes me happy.
on the other hand i can imagine Barry being the most indecisive person in the store while this is blaring over the speakers, like he's been in the isle for the past 3 hours trying to decide what to get for himself
Tbh there’s nothing really extremely pricey. You easily could earn the most expensive things like the dragon skin for 30k under half an hour just grinding missions
@@peterpumpkineater6928 yea, but 6 year old me wasn't really very good at this game. now though, getting most of the stuff in the shop is a breeze if you can pull through and get enough coins, especially after they added the coin power up a few years back

I played Jetpack Joyrider on Playstation 3, it came out for that console and when I was 7 years old in 2015 it was on Sundays at 1 and 2 in the afternoon after my older brother played call of duty I played jetpack and saw the items in the store articles
