@@Catholicspeaker You are welcome! All the best for you. I am Egyptian ex-Muslim converted to Catholicism and I am happy to follow you. Pray for us espicially for our resettlement because we are refugee Catholic couple Sawsan and Hani in Hong Kong waiting for resettlement because of religious persecution in Egypt. Thanks a lot, our greetings to the whole awesome family.
Jenelle, I attended the mission given by Ken the last 2 evenings at St, Gregory's Church in Samuels, KY. It was wonderful. I want you to know what a wonderful job you are doing! You wouldn't believe how highly Ken speaks of you! Good work!
Guys, this is just SOOO GOOOOD! The dynamic between you two is wonderful + you've inspired my wife and myself to reread the book and try to find some more peace in our own family with 4 kiddos. Blessings from Slovenia!
You and Janelle inspire by your common sense approach. Your videos are not "fluffed" with a faked and staged family life that appears perfect and out of touch. I appreciate Janelle's candor that is appealing to those mothers that are daily trying to cooperate with God's will to sanctify families - but find that some days are better than others. Wish you had been around when I was raising my own nine children but by God's grace they have survived thus far to adulthood spiritually, physically and mentally. It is pretty amazing how God provides when we think He isn't. Thank you.
Hi Ken and Jannell, I really love your videos. I find them very genuine and practical! Jannell seems to have a natural gift for planning and organization. That's a great gift to have! I absolutely agree with your message that order helps to keep the peace in the home. Thank you!
You both are a great inspiration to all Catholic couples and families. May God continue to strengthen you for the good work He is doing through you. Love and blessings from Kenya.
What a fantastic summary of the Rule of Life!! Thank you for posting this. We had at one time (in desperation) put together a rule when we began homeschooling, and it really brought peace to our home. I also found we had more time! Most importantly we intentionally put prayer first. We need to re-establish the Rule in our home in it's entirety. But I have found even having a bare bones morning schedule posted for the kids was very helpful during the times when we were functioning in "survival mode". This encourages me to pick it up again!
Wow, that was really good and helpful. It's really good that you plan your day. I try to plan but honestly find it really difficult to find time to sit down and plan the next day. We home school too which is brilliant but I feel like a clown juggling about 7or 8 balls al at once. May be I could try. We tend to have a routine anyway in the midst of chaos. Having time with my husband is difficult as at the end of the day we are both so tired that we spend the evening recovering from the day. However, we are trying to pray together more now. Please could you do more family videos, they are really useful. I love your message. Thank you very much. X
Nicola Joyce thanks for the comment. Yes, it takes time to plan. In fact it was tough for Janelle to find time for this. But after taking the time to plan, it actually created more free time for her in the day. And yes, we will be doing more videos on living the Catholic family life. 😀. Thanks for watching.
What a great Catholic family life. May God bless your family in time and in eternity. You are a great example to many in these confused and diabolically disorientated times.
Oh my gosh, you guys! I have been waiting for this! And have tried something like this, but not quite, and it never got finished therefore did not work! But I have thinking a lot about Madonna House and my time spent there, and wish I had a structure to our life, so it was also easy for Andrew to join in when he got home... thank you for this!
Hi guys, I am grateful that my Mom and Dad were shown the example, by their parents, to set a schedule and follow it as much as possible. It was very comforting , as children, because we knew what to expect and what was expected of us. I was number 8 of 11 children. There is naturally unforeseen things that happen, but order tends to prevail because faith, hope and love stabilize our interactions so that we can create order on the fly when necessary. God bless you. I often think about you and pray for you all. Alcide, Holy Cross Parish, Winnipeg
@@Catholicspeaker I would second seeing an image uploaded somewhere of your schedule (redacted if needed). I'm curious about the layout you all described.
Patrick Parris we’ve had a number of questions about this. I think we will just do another video specifically show how we schedule our day. I’m currently in CA speaking but when I return home I will suggest to Janelle we do a part to right away. Thanks for the questions. Stay tuned.
I love you the amazing Catholic couple and so proud of you. God bless you and protects your awesome family.
Sawsan Elshafey thank you for kind words and prayers. We appreciate it! 😀
