- In the original Ragnarok Online, the Assassin branch was good and people have nostalgia playing this class. Is Blade Soul in a good place for PvE in 2023? Or is it still as bad as people say it is? Follow me in my adventure as I attempt to make a viable Blade Soul build that is legend ready.

Sb is my main ... and the struggle is real but its fun so see all your crit while doing auto attack just like the old days 😅😅
Assassin class or the fourth job class Shadow Cross is the highest DPS among the classes, in the original RO game. due to Katars doubling the Crit dmg doing BILLIONS of damage with Savage Impact and Impact Crater, along with Dragon Knight. Its ashame that the Assassin are left out. the reason why they can deal those damage is because of low After Skill Delay and low Skill Cooldown which seem impossible to achieve with 3D models.

hey woobly i noticed something that i do not see to many people talk about, now that i came back fortune sword got a synth and also a 5 row of increase that seems huge in the damage calculation, wonder if could be good to check it out plus the extra ig defense, what do you all think?
Hi Wobbly! I didn't notice you casting "Full Black Claw" when the Legend Golem's HP is below 60%, not sure if you did use it or not, but, it adds a lot of AA damage when the debuff is active.
Thanks for the tip, I didn't, next time I'll use that to make sure I do more damage.
I was a PvE Assassin user. And Im using Dagger that not too much dmg in MvPs

How viable is Magic Nogu these days? Is it worth attempting a solo legend run with it yet? :)
@WobblyWallaby It is very unpredictable. The damage can go from 300k to 300m but is just a very random unpredictable damage. If you are not a main Magic NoGu build, don't try it. This is the same situation that Begetter was suffering until they made the proper change, I hope Devs do that change as Jorm came to change the full pvp/gvg game.

DA - love playing ED/CAH during GvG and sacri build during 6v6. Just building enough pen/pdi w/ complete ignore def just wrecks a whole guild (if supported by a saint, FP is a must lmao)
Rath/taek -my go-to PvE classes. Taekwon is really great for speedrunning CML/LIL. Rath is also really great in BH/Void runs.
For fun - I use pure CC build rath during gvg. I set my stats to cover all CC duration/effectiveness. It's really fun to use especially when I see some players get cc'd then die to poison XD
Sinx is my best character..
Can you try auto CRS build instead?
Nogu and Rath are my PVE characters now. pretty straightforward playstyles

right when i playing around with sbx lol. but i really hope his hero class would be more feasible than sbx for low depo user. i play in SEA EL and everyone around me is 100+ depo, sucks for newer player pvp is impossible even more on gvg because there arent any tier limitation on WOE. still sticking with sbx for PVP because it was the biggest reason i play rom in the first place

SBX is my favorite class because I fell in love with the job when I first play it. Super strong in war/pvp and with the recent buff, can be also use in PVE.

My "Just for fun" Job/build to each scenario:
GVG/WOC:
Thanatos tank/wiper build: I focus to my tankyness and survivability. Helping my team to clear enemy fields to annoy them! with status debuff! I'm at 50% deposit so I can't rely to my own damage.
PVE( Weeklies):
Nogu and Rath. Easy to manage their build and good counter for types of monsters to most instances. I'm having fun with fast movespeed and the animation of healing received by Rath.

For pvpa and f2p venom dagger is the best weapon, no need dmg or depo. Poison will do the job, just hit few times or use venom dart and gg dead. 1 venom dart can kill a pj full HP in 5 sec.
For me, on the early days its warlock (AM) with MS spam then after slayers release its been my comfort class on pve and pvp cause of the jump and white barrier. UboLe #1298

who is the best auto attack crit class in ROM these days? RM still king with +15 heavens?
Would you consider TK an AA Crit class? I think he is one of the best, though squishy. RM even with +10 heavens is really good due to the m.def switch. But you need high depo for RM.
@@WobblyWallaby Hmm, no I mean all damage from the AA crits, so no AM, no Jormu, no TK, etc. How would you rank these 5? Crit RM, crit/sword Ninja, crit/katar SBX, Heinrich, ADL SH. Thank you.
@@bonelessthincrustPersonal preference is Crit RM, Heinrich, ADL SH, crit ninja, and then SBX. Crit RM due to m.def switch, Heinrich is quite strong right now and useful for WSA as a debuffer, ADL SH has lots of great buffs and does a lot of damage (just squishy), ninja I don't have much experience, and SBX is bad

Its getting there but as of now for Dailies and Weeklies it is still overshadowed by Genos and Rath 🙄
GX only good for PVE in pcRO specially now with the release of 4th jobs, still one of the best for PVE/PVP. For rom, better stick to Genos/Rath for PVE hahaha

If they removed the crit damage cap that class have, all will be good for that class, but for now i will consider that class death😐
cap is not the problem dude. have you even reach the 1000%? nobody reach cap for crit dmg.
the real problem is poison element sucks against holy dark and undead which is most mvp
@@indomobilegaming3636already done 900% crt.dmg, the real problem is the crt.dmg cap and render stats, even you get 1000% the damage is almost the same, it will just increase but a bit, no more no less, that's why i decided to switch to the incoming class hero Heinrich, because that hero don't have any crit cap, specially the skill, if you don't believe me then try it on ur own character, im done the ending is a big waste of resources, 🤦

One day it will be auto attack LB and that will be the worst build lol. Actually blade soul did better than phantom dancer. I couldn't even clear brave with PD.

Im using SH trapper build for PVE. In weeklies i cant solo instances bcoz SH is too squishy. I need someone to tank for me to dealt decent damage.
