Verdun and pashendale maps are so visually stunning with just how horrific they look, the last sector on Verdun heights where there is red mist as you fight right next to the fire is just amazing
I just played this map yesterday at night with my 4k tv OLED HDR and my god 8 years later this game… Everything was perfect the ambiance, visuals, audio, the game was balanced. This map is just what horror is in war, you don’t see a thing, next thing you’re stepping on a soldier, the colors are profound i’ve never felt so immersed in a long time
This game is amazing, the immersion and depth of detail into the grittiness and grotesque nature of this battle and all battles of WWI really does them justice, whenever I play this map and i’m pinned down by enemy fire at C this game feels like a depiction of the sheer terror of war
I have ptsd from the grenade spam and my tank getting obliterated by 8 explosions at once. That assault asshole with his stupid hat is going to get it one day. The silhouette is enough to make me panic.
8:11 "Ethan Hill" probably should've been named Pasha Singh or something bc it looks like he was one of the Sikh soldiers. But great video nonetheless. The cuts to black really sell it.
Im thinking about buying this game and was wondering how the lobbies are,if it takes too long or if u dont get full lobbies,as well as the cheaters situation. If someone could help me out with that i would very much appreciate
You need to find servers that provides these maps but there's not alot of them (speaking as a PS4/PS5 and european player) and for me theses maps appear only on conquest mode
There are also no red indicators above enemies, or blue indicators above friendlies, and no crosshairs drawn by the game. You rely on the crosshairs on the weapon only

Incredible to think boys as young as 17 and 16 were in these hellish conditions of kill or BE killed
I serched on google, and apperantly people as young as 12 were dragged into the fight.

There are some servers who only allow rifles but it's tricky to get into one or actually find one.
