Loving the instrument play throughs. Will we ever see some play throughs of some of the ‘older’ killer songs?! That would be dope!! Also, we need some ‘Singer play throughs’ too 😁😁😁

As a newb.....less than a year....the first time I heard this on octane, I knew I had to try to learn it. Im finding it harder with a pick so I revert to fingers. Thanks for uploading this so I can mimic your technique.
Tuning is AGCF? Curious why you dont use that tuning and not a 5 string (1 step down) or a 4 string tuned ADGF? Please do another bass playthrough soon! Love it.
Most of the bands songs are in Drop C as my 4 strings are tuned to, CGCF. With the hip shot I can transpose songs the band has in Drop A. It’s to keep the set going without having to switch basses although some songs will be on a 5. It’s a fun tuning, allows for power chords to be played as an octave like standard tuning on a guitar. Try it!
@@adamwoloszyn6405 thanks for taking the time to answer! Was also curious why you chose to use flats for this style of music? Definitely uncommon as you mentioned. Are they ernie balls?
@@codyhansonbass For sure! Has to be the Ernie Ball Cobalt Flats, regular flats would not sound right. The cobalts have a brightness to them and a mid range punch that sits well with the guitars. Especially recording. Honestly I was just curious how they would sound, tried them and dug it.
