  • My goal in Movement Archery & Zen Acrobatics Seminar is to give people the ability to connect to their physicality and confront its own unexpectedness.
    Through practice of techniques of imagination, I try to create blockages and impulses based on instincts, desires, fears and limitations, But without the emotional attachment that arises from facing them in a daily situation.
    In order to react to those experiences I offer physical techniques and tools such as Acrobatics, Floor Work, Rhythms and awareness of the space in which I am moving.
    In order to understand this idea better, we can look closely at the ability to perfectly imagine an ocean and all that it contains: Calmness, Storm, Waves, Winds, Underwater and so on...
    Using this imagery, my goal is to allow and support each participant to imagine the ocean to the fullest while providing him with the movement ideas to react to its unexpectedness;
    For example moving freely on all levels of this ocean means; riding the waves, swimming in between them, diving under them or even standing comfortably in the shallow water. If one of those qualities will seem uncomfortable it's important to think it thoroughly and feel what is the right tool in order to deal with the challenge without unnecessary tension or stress.
    Even more important though, is to search within this total experience for the difference between the right timing for motion and the right timing for quiet.
    Eventually I suggest that technique and improvisation will lose their boundary and both of them will just serve the functionality of the movement in a skillful manner, all while keeping a Calm, Conscious and for times maybe Empty State Of Mind...

    I have noticed that through the ease of access to information and videos depicting other styles of movement, that there is a combining of different styles of movement ( One could say yoga, with some time with breakdancing , along with bodybuilding for an example ) what different combinations have an effect on the outcome and unique qualities in one's movement
