Love the way she holds her landing position after the jump, very graceful and natural. Very unlike the way the Russians (and now others) do where they exaggerate raising their free leg back to show extension.

No. I agree that Jia should have had high pcs but even if she did, the result will be the same with Mao winning because high pcs scores can only let you gain a slight small advantage. And Mao's pcs are that far behind either. Jia would have to either work on harder combos if she won't learn ultra c elements or wait for mistakes made by others with ultra c elements

i think it will be hard for her. her coach is a monster and she isn’t even eligible for 2026 olympics but she’s already doing quads. i’m worried for her body and her health.
She still had 7 years until she can go to the Olympics. And based on Mie Hamada’s history she needs to get a new coach because she’ll be injured by then otherwise
The technical panel seems weirdly overly strict. From the protocols I saw that they called her 3S+3T+2T as q on 3S and 3T. Went back here to confirm they look clean to me 🤔
