:-) el molde lo saqué de una caja del 800 china que era de mis bisabuelos... ( si ellos me pudieran ver sacando moldes de esa caja, se morirían dos veces de susto) :-)
Supongo que se pondrían de los nervios, sí, de ver su preciada antigüedad amenazada, ja,ja pero en cuanto vieran el resultado de tu molde cambiarían de opinión!

Hi! Any suggestions for brands that have deep textures for stamps? Most of them I have seen are quite shallow. thanks!
I never bought a stamp because I make them myself but some people told me that Lisa Pavelka's stamps have deep textures. Google and you will find her store.

Beginner here, in the second step you bake on the backing. Won't that cause the beautifully created top layer to over bake?
Polymer clay can be baked several times. The important thing is that the temperature is the right one and remains constant. Then there are no dangers

I made it :-) It's a mold of a chinees box of my grand mother. Probably she would not have approved that I make a mold with her box :-) Lol Hugs!
+Mo Clay If she was anything like my Gran, she would forgive you, as love is special between a child and her Grandmother. I mean, even when I put a slug into her new shoe, (it needed a home, thinking as 4 year olds do, I thought it was a smashing idea) She let out such a scream as this slug was stuck to her stocking foot! Lol My Grandfather tried so hard not to laugh, he failed and cried with laughter. So yes Marian, very forgiving hugs xx

Love your pendent! Can I ask why you use dishsoap in the water when you are sanding your pendent? Thank you!
when sanding your paper can get clogged up very fast, so if you use soap it helps keep the sandpaper clean longer and it is easier to sanding. :-)

my oven only goes as low as 170F. Can I put in at 170F but for less amount of time?
Hi Yaya, polymer clay must be baked at 110ºC or 230 F if your oven goes over 170 F it's fine! you need to reach 230ºF

Beautiful! Isn't it too much baking for the main part? 60 minutes all together. I'm afraid, it will be burned.
There are no problems, the polymer clay does not burn even if you leave it in the oven for hours. The important thing is that the temperature must be constant and not exceed 110ºC/130ºC (aprox. 275ºF)
if the translucent clay has burned that means that temperature is too high. The translucent clays are very sensitive to heat and can not be cooked at a higher temperature. Instead the opaque clay resist to higher heat. I always suggest to put a sheet of white copy paper in the oven. The sheet, after cooked, will be white but it will have a little darker hue. But it must be always white! Hope to be helpful :-)
Thank you so much for your great advise! I'm pretty sure that the temperature went up a little bit because of some reason and that ruined my clay. I'm using a conventional oven with an extra temperature controller, but unfortunately they are not doing the best job for me. Thanks for your suggestion!
