The variety, consistency and power off that wing is amazing.

Take a bow, Grigor! Such a mature performance. Absolutely amazing consistency and great match play. Such intelligent tennis coming from him for the last few months. Rooting for him in 2024.
Never have i seen Dimitrov play with this much conviction and confidence in my life, and I've followed him from the start. I think Grigor finally woke up and decided, no longer will i be bullied because of my single-handed backhand, and he basically did a Neo Federer of 2017... just ripping his BH instead of playing a defensive slice. If he maintains this level, he should be one of the contenders for the AO title.
Unfortunately, Nuno Borges was on point that day, he played amazing and even gave hell to Medvedev! And once Grigor loses it mentally, he can't get his game back together. Idk if he gets mad and rushes, but once he is gone mentally, there is no going back! He needs to work the mental! He finally traded kitty cats for high level tennis and it pays off 😉

As much i would love to see dimi go deep, one handed back handers really don’t stand a chance in this era of basline tennis . Ultimately errors catch up and they end up on the losing side. I doubt any young player today will take up the one hander , guessing coaches will also move completely away from it . Sorry i derailed from the main topic but seeing dimi , i feel like we are seeing the last of the one handers (him / wavrinka / and the now retired gasquet)

Its always a joy watching Grigor play. He's a special talent, a walking highlights reel. And whats really helping him go deep in the tournament for the past 4 to 5 months is his reliance on his backhand which has eventually paid dividend here in Brisbane.

Incredible shot making. So happy for Grigor and great sportsmanship from Rune (rare to say this).
Loving the Dimitrov one-handed backhand! Would watch highlights of that backhand all day long.
I'm so happy for Grigor, such a joy to watch, he's been playing the tennis of his life in the last few months and it's paying off!
What a beauty. Power, elegance and humility. Bravo Grigor.
Now I can enjoy watching tennis again! Really missed those federer-like one handed backhand in the tour! Well done Grigor and looking forward to your match in AO2024!
When dimitrov plays.. I feel like Roger is playing..such, a stylish player
The level by dimitrov!! Ufff! He's finally peaking it seems... And wreak havoc on court! What a player!
Looked like a great match, very high quality. Would be happy for Rune as well if he won but gotta be happier for Grigor man he's been playing great last year and this was a monster performance from him.
Dmitrov's game is really nice. Every shot hit so pure
Quality ❤ intensity ❤ well deserved Dimitrov 😊
Браво, Гришо!!! Идва ред и на титлата на АО!!!🎾
Que gran jugador, que estilo, y que buen hombre. Le deseo que gane un GS.❤🎉
Wow! The quality in these highlights are fantastic. Great job all round (from both players and from who’s put together these highlights). Congratulations to Grigor, that BH has been 🔥 these past few months.
Dimitrov will be a dark horse in Australia
No he won't..as much as I like the guy he never delivers at Grandslams ..
@@FrankieHresko? Semi final in 2017 and semi final US Open 2019 ? I mean when he is in the zone dont worry he Will perform
He could be, but the competition is very strong this year.
@@romainmj7245 two semis in what? 15y on tour? And for so much hype he's had it's not enough imo
So happy for grigor he is so an Great guy he deserves lot more😊
I am so happy for Dimitrov - it's been 6 long years since he last won a title (2017 ATP Finals), have always enjoyed watching his game which has a lot of nice variety and he has played really well since Shanghai last year
Really hoping Dimitrov can get a friendly draw at this year's AO, he will be seeded #13 so will be drawn to play against one of the top 4 in the 4th round (unless one of the players ranked 5-12 withdraws), just great to see him back playing at a high level :)
This was a great high-quality final with superb ballstriking from both players - glad Dimitrov won though instead of Rune
Its always a joy watching Grigor play. He's a special talent, a walking highlights reel. And whats really helping him go deep in the tournament for the past 4 to 5 months is his reliance on his backhand which has eventually paid dividend here in Brisbane.
Dimitrov has been playing phenomenally! I'll be rooting for him to win more titles this year, he's a joy to watch.
Truly deserve Grigor. Congratulations 🎉. You are gentleman of tennis.Your games are so beautiful and elegant
I’m so happy. I hoped so much he’d win. What a battle. He played amazing. High standard of tennis. His backhand was solid. That’s made my day. I said yesterday he could win if he was aggressive and confident and came in. He did. Bravo. ❤
Enjoying Dmitrov's play in recent months, and after today am an official fan, Growing in respect and appreciation of Rune as well. (Idemo Nole!)
250 event ? Thats tennis for a Masters final
Congrats Dimi finally you won that title ,the first since 2017 hope its one of many this year .
God bless you!
Unbeliveable how much he is playing good in his age, the come back is real in head and also in his body. I am so happy for him.
Wow, what a match and what a performance from Grigor! Congratz, well deserved!!!
Grigor playing his best tennis, high quality match. 🎉
Waiting throughout 6.5 years in order to attain a ATP title. Even though Bulgarian tennis player confronted with the downturns and downswings during the particular periods, he has elevated his mobility and adaptability within this process in order to compete more perseverant and resolute than the previous seasons. I am really blissful for Dimitrov. He should have literally captured more ATP titles with his impression. He has multiple potentials to clinch the successes and achievements. It is absolutely an extraordinary championship on the behalf of Grigor Dimitrov.
