Have you considered upgrading the ship's defenses so you can take on the Death Guard fleets?

You should uppgrade the combat parts of the ship.
That way, you can go up against the Death Guard ships and alike without dying( that Easley).

I chased servitor rewards for some time, giving up classes and equipment. Having your speed fully upgraded with enhanced Gellar fields really fixed a lot of you challenges moving around the map. And as others have said, the shields and guns shouldn’t be ignored, as the Death Guard fleets will only get more common. I don’t want to spoil anything, though, so I’ll leave it at that. Good luck!

PS - ‘Bloomspawn’ is a catch-all term for anything the Bloom creates. The little spitting and whip plants are bloomspawn, as well as the Feculent Gnawlmaws. The Feculent Gnarlmaws are the giant trees you were targeting in this mission, in addition to the Spreader itself. The Gnarlmaws are also actual models you can order from GW, btw. The Spreader gets more armor and HP from the Gnarlmaws. If you kill the Gnarlmaws, it is easier to kill the Spreader and, as your Twitch audience pointed out, the Gnarlmaws provide good XP and seeds.
When you trigger the Spreader, it brings in reinforcements to save it. I’ve had it being in four or five at once, whatever was available for it in the mission brief less what was used, plus one more each turn. This is why weakening it can be handy. As you noticed though, you port out immediately when the Spreader dies. Different from just the Seed Carrier or Bloomspawn missions where you must hold for 3 turns. This helps you escape if the Spreader brought in a ton of help - ignore the help and murder the Spreader. Hope that answers your question and helps understand what’s going on in the Spreader missions.

Started thinking about warhammer games and tought... how sick could it be to play a strategic fps/stealth (likes of rainbow six) as Gaunts ghosts or some similar guard regiment? Maybe ramping up the shooter and making game about the siege of Vraks?
Making game where regular soldiers stand up to fight against genemaniopulated supersoldiers, demons and hordes of enemies.

In my opinion you should upgrade your Librarian and try to find a paladin plus an interceptor and justicar. Strongest group of guys I have currently

Hey lionheart huge fan love your videos. I just finished the Roman empire series for ck3 and there was no royal Court content which I understand because it was in the middle of launch. I was wondering if you could do a community vote on your next ck3 series with royal Court. I couldn't find any of your Iceland series you said you were doing on twitch. I personally would love an India or Russian series unless you're set in stone on Iceland adventurers going to India. Thank you! Congrats on the house!

If you upgrade your Librarian he can become extremely strong and op I have a lvl 7 Librarian that can do 8 damage over a area and they can also teleport the whole squad plus he has a couple of others abilities that buff his passives

The versatility if the classes is great, but let me tell you... Purgators are just too good. I LOVE paladins. I freaking adore librarians. Interceptors CAN be turned into one man Rambo killing machines. But kit out four purgators with psilencers, auto return fire and crossfire with a little extra range and you will NEVER lose. They will mow down absolutely everything without a fuss. They auto reload. They shoot five-six times a turn EACH if you get the reloads down. And THEN they can carry SIX grenades... They're not fancy, but they kick ass

As a side note, their 'upgraded' version, purifiers... Blow harder than the flame throwers they use. Garbage unit. Range is KING in this game
