One thing you always see in Ventures videos, guys are always having fun,always happy and respectful to each other,camaraderie is i guess what you would call that.
I'm almost 80 years old... I played in a band when I lived in Stratford Connecticut... Called the Roadrunners... We played all the Venture's songs...👍👍👍
Me too. We had a band in the early 60's and played all the Ventures songs. We saw them live in the early 60's at the Whiteland Barn in Indiana and copied all there songs.
Very good and always young. In the '60s I was a fan of The Shadows, but I have to admit that they were an instrumental pop band, while The Venture were definitely rock. From Italy, greetings to all the fans of The Ventures, The Shadows and all lovers of country, rock and pop music.
Sadly none of them are with us any more. What a privilege it was to had this group of guys on the stages for decades. Now we only have their memories. Rest in peace Don, Nokia, Mel and Bob.. We surely miss you all.. ❤❤❤❤😢😢😢😢
@@jonzurell918 He meant the Venture's lineup in this video, not the guests.... they all died in their 70s and 80s, except for Mel Taylor, the drummer, who died of cancer not long after this.
I’m a multi medium artist/writer/poet/musician and singer and I play loads if different instruments but purcussion and drums I really love and also make and love many different genres both instrumental and I always look for different beats for my purcussion and drums even for my digital music. I had never seen this and although I recognise most of the songs I gotta be honestv I’d never heard of The Ventures I was going through a top 100 1962 songs list and making playlists and came across a songn and decided to check iout the song and a few videos later ..,. here we are.;…. I live this… and I appreciate that at the time this was truly different… still is! love the drum s all the way through and some nawesome skills in this lot. 10/10 I’m a fan
