    The Rhipsalis and Epiphyllum anguliger(fishbone cactus)that you showed are just some of the species of jungle cacti. They are epiphytes, that grow in rainforest climates, many do not have spines and they flower the prettiest blooms. It’s a really interesting family with so many more species and varieties.

      Exactly the right mindset! You can also swap or sell and get some new plants 🪴

    At 15:37 That’s definitely a pseudorhipsalis ramulosa! I have one which is huge and grows in a pretty shady spot but still grows amazingly, but of course if you want it to get that beautiful red hue then it needs to be in high light. It will love high humidity tho! They’re jungle cacti so has similar care to bromeliads or air plants.

      Ooh I hope mine can grow big like that too! Maybe I’ll put it in the cabinet or something 💚 thanks for the advice!

    I keep most of my succulents and cacti in my grow tent during the colder months, and I've seen a lot of people keep theirs in cabinets! Epiphyte or not, I'm sure it'll do great. 🥰

    Ooh those baby plants are too cute! 😍 I have a question about Hoya care. I have a few small hoya in orchid bark. Is that a good growing medium for them? I have a Hindu Rope, Super Silver, Pubicalyx, and Krimson Queen. Thanks for all the helpful tips! I just found your channel when you visited the Jungle Haven.

      I love love love growing mine in orchiata. Moss is the worst move. I’ll save u the bs from the gate lol. Justmake sure to supplement nutrients if not growing in souk

      Welcome welcome :) I personally put mine in anthurium mix from soil ninja which is fairly barky. So they get lots of air on their roots but also nutrients from the soil

    I bought banana plant in 5 cm planter. It grows so fast. Two years later it's in 24 cm planter and I have to put it in low light area to prevent it getting too gigantic.

    What about a tour of all of your propagations? Kristina of Leafy_Luster just did it and it was great! Plus, it might help some of us (cough cough, me) calm our need to prop 😂

    Do you keep the Syngoniums in the cabinet? I have one in a window with little humidity that looks great and the other one is on a table with humidifier going all the time and it looks bad.

    • @GoodGrowing
      @GoodGrowing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do keep some of them in the cabinet though tbh I think the ones outside it are doing a bit better. Might switch things around a bit and pull them out 🤷🏻‍♀️

    🪴would be great to see your largest plants too! Enjoyed this video as being fairly new to houseplants, I’ve bought a lot of ‘small’ plants as it’s a great way to get variety and learn about the needs of each plant in my home, without the risk of losing a more mature specimen. But, sometimes you see a larger plant that is just screaming “Buy me!” 😱🤷🏻‍♂️what can ya do?

    • @GoodGrowing
      @GoodGrowing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can defo do a large plants video too :)
