Finally IPL feels like its old self again. When 160-180 scores were also defendable in stadiums like Wankhede or Chinnaswamy. Such a breath of fresh air and so much more dramatic compared to the rest of the high scoring games.

The intention does not mean 6 ball 9 runs SR of 175 out. In paper you may say ohh SR is high but no impact. He is the main reason we lost the last 4 T20WC worse than any other player. He just captained the best 11 players in MI, salute to mi scouting team for that.

The MI management ought to be fired! They appointed Hardik as captain, and their team selection process has been appalling. I find it hard to believe that six of their playing eleven-Ishan, Surya, Hardik, Tilak, and Bhumra-play for India. No other team has that luxury.

@@user-gg4dm5uv6j MI scouting is top notch, but management ( coaches, player management and mentors ) are not doing good job. There is no doubt about players talent and their abilities, but planning and picking best 11 is the main issue.
One thing that went unnoticed in this match that first 5 wickets of KKR fell from one end. Hardik being selfish captain bowl all his 4 overs from that end. Yeah he got wickets but if Bumrah would have got to bowl from that end he might have ended KKR batting under 100-120. Why don't you give your best bowler to bowl from the better side of the wicket? That is selfish cricket.

Hardik should bat at no. 3. Ishan Kishan should be dropped. It’s time management has a serious conversation with Rohit and tell him to up his game. Boucher should be sacked. MI can’t always depend on Tilak Varma and Wadhera to always step up. Other batsmen have to step up. MI didn’t use Nabi properly. They didn’t bowl him much and he was batting too low. Overall, this was a season where MI management didn’t use their resources properly despite having a top-notch squad.
