- In this video I'll talk about how to get a six link in Path of Exile. I'll be going over 5 different methods that you can use to obtain your 6 link and improve the power of your character! Some of these methods are reliable but expensive and some of them can be cheaper but rely more heavily on luck!

There's a prophecy for 6linking an item, you forgot that one.
That's true, I knew I forgot something! I'll pin this for everyone to see. The prophecy is called "Fated Connections" and is generally quite expensive but you can always try your luck seeking and sealing prophecies as well if you have a ton of coins!
New player here. What is a prophecy?
@@JeremyL1983 As you level, eventually you'll start finding silver coins. When you do, you take them to Navali, a creepy lady you'll see hanging around. She'll have a purple exclamation point over her head when you have a coin in your inventory. She'll give you a prophecy which will come true when the conditions are met. A lot of them are extra monsters, extra goodies, or extra potent effects from crafting. You can either fulfill the prophecy yourself, or you can seal it by paying more silver coins. Once it's sealed, it can be traded to other players. So you could buy a Fated Connections prophecy, use it, and then the next time you use a jeweler's orb, you'll get 6 links guaranteed.

No one mentioning that you can't get 6 link armor with level lower than 50 lvl. Many new players trying to craft 6L with no success.

My most expensive 6-link was about 8 ex and the fusings I already had!
My friends always told me to do it myself. After burning through 5 ex worth of fusings, I bought 1500 fusings again and went to a Crafter.
Im not sure if I want to try linking them myself ever again.
Vaults of Atziri can drop corrupted six links too, especially if the map has a high chance to corrupt items. Can be hit and miss, and it's a little time consuming.
This is a great point! I often let Vaults stack up in my map tab because they are tedious to run, but very worthwhile if you want to try your luck at a 6 link!
There is only one way of doing it: Spend all your fusings, get a 5link and keep going because you hope for that 6link. Then end up broke with a 4 linked item, rage, deinstall the game and go play minecraft.

If it's a unique item for a build you should buy a cheap 5 or 6 link, and also buy one that isn't but has high rolls on stats, then work towards six linking the better one.
This is simply the truth , this mechanic is beyond fucking stupid in this game. Yea fucking yourself to RNG breaking your build is gameplay in this POS game. FUcking stupid.

Can hold control and shift together to buy stacks of fusings from the vendor rather than one at a time like in the video.
Good video man. Played poe again because it was on ps4. This is good to know when I'll get to farming. I also feel like blood aqueduct farming is a meme at this point too because of how common the method seems to be haha
There is a incubator that drop a 6 link weapon/armor and now with the metamorp league there are organs that give a 6 link weapon/armor.
Maybe I have missed it but when you talk about corrupted 6-link I think that is worth mentioning the Vaal tempest in the incursion temple (which you can have by upgrading to lvl 3 the tempest room)
Honestly, I forgot all about that. In tempest league you could get an insane amount of 6 links from corrupted tempests and I forgot they are still somewhat easy to get in the Temple!

Thanks Fabian! Yes, that is a Tornado Shot Trapper. It's not bad, but requires a pretty stretched out skill tree with a decent amount of abyss jewels to work well. I also really like the new Timeless Jewel that gives you lucky crit and lucky damage but you can't wear a helmet for it. Since Lightning damage has such a huge range it really gives a great dps boost for this kind of build.
My second six link was my fastest. 1 jewel for 6s. 7fus total. More crazy, it took 6fus for 5l. And then I click again. Bam 6L. It was so crazy to see. A 5L turn into a 6L.
That reminds me of my linking luck in Legion league. I self 6 linked 12 body armors and 2 bows that league, which is way more than usually (Generally I'm lucky to 6 link 2-3 things per league total) One of the body armors I did in less than 10 fuses, not sure the exact amount since I was spamming.
Pay 2 exalts for a Fated Connections prophecy or the item directly 6 linked. Depends on the item. Forget the rest.
If you already have a valuable high/max stats item it might be worth paying 2 ex and link it with the prophecy. Remember that you can unsixsocket the item with the crafting bench. If you just need the item with no regards to minmaxing... buy it six linked!
A good Cloak of Defiance is 2.5 ex linked. A high stats is 10+. With the price of Divine Orbs atm you might be better off re-rolling.

Been trying for a belly of the beast for my frostblade assassin, these kids on Xbox are asking 5 exalt for a 3 link 😑

Start playing SSF, then your problem is solved OR craft it yourself, it is realy easy (a 3-Link).

Demonitized I started on pc back in 2016 and played for a few years but my laptop just bit the dust a few months ago and I don’t have the money right now to invest in the kind of PC that I want. I’ll be building a desktop eventually when I’m better off financially but for now it’s Xbox or nothing. I’ve been searching pawn shops for a cheap laptop that has a decent graphics card but haven’t found one I like yet

And don't forget the oni-goroshi sword from farming the strand. Probably the easiest 6-link to get in this game 😃 I do this every league and usually takes 3 characters 3 to 5 days to get. Happy hunting 😁
Another method with Blight League. Running high level blighted maps pretty much guarantees many 6 sockets but I've seen people get 6Ls from the armour blights as well.
Been playing about a year, but only witch variations; what skill is being used in the video? Is that some sort of blade vortex build? I have been looking for a swirling circle of damage centered on me, but have yet to find one that I like. That skill looks like it could satisfy my desire to try that concept out on a new build (even if that means departing from my preferred spellcasting classes).
that unique you were trying to 6L while near kuduku. you successfully linked it 2 times at least.
problem is if you need 6L unique item ... at that moment is expensive as hell to buy and my luck with fusing them didnt aloved me to have single 6L made after 6 years of causual play and maybe 20k fuses used ... btw i stopped playing around delve so this delve think is new to me but still

Do what I did this league. Play for 2/3 of the league. Collect your first exalt, buy one, find 51 more exalts, then sell another 200 or so exalts in equipment, fossils, etc. Use 2,000+ fusing orbs and get skunked. Get pissed when you FINALLY drop your first natural 6 link and it is a corrupted lvl 84 shaper influenced Widowsilk with a whooping 7 life, 9 lightning resistance, 34 mana, and 1 white socket.
I only ever buy them or make a build with a auto 6L chest. Unless I have an insane rare chest, it is almost never worth the fusing investment.

6 link recipe = 1500 fusing = 500 chaos = 5,5 exalts. Fated Connections (prophecy) = 5 ex. Linking fusing will be unprofitable if you have spent more than 1500 fusing.
Ok, what the point of having a corrupted 6L? Because unless you are extremely lucky you will get a 6L with crappy rolls, which you can't change. Or is there a way to uncorrupt the item?

why does every good build require a 6 link when its so hard to get them, i litteraly dont have the money to get close to getting one so how can i progress

Many time Ive gotten a tabula rasa drop in the Sceptre of God area in Act 3.
Incubators can guarantee 6Links, the new league's metamorph can give 6 links, there is also the Saqawine Vulture beast craft that gives a fully linked 6 sockets rare item which is often a body armor.

I always wonder why they 6 link items for less than a divine orb. instead of buying divine orbs, just buy 6 L items and turn them into divines.

Is there like a character or item level minimum limit for getting 6 socket on item tho?
Someone on global chat kinda vaguely told me that but never really replied to clear it after.

The mini ilevel is 50 to get 6 sockets. Overall buying a 6 links item is way easier

I happened upon a 6 link axe by chance at low level and i'm a beginer. Also got a tabula rasa and a few other uniques. I was quite lucky but i can't link all six of them together for the life of me...

In other words, just buy a six link if you have a limited amount of time to spend on the game. Good video content though, the game is so effing complicated as a new player, while most creators don't really target that audience and jump over all the basic facts that are necessary for understanding. I appecriate it :)

I notice that you rapidly click the item trying for the 6 link....when it pops up 6 link, how do you stop right on it ? I see people clicking very fast and don't know how it stops on the right linking so precisely.
For a 6 link specifically (this doesn't apply to 4 link gloves for instance, which will allow you to roll over a 4 link) it will stop you automatically and let you know that the item can no longer be modified with this item when you hit the 6 link. I would be going slower in the beginning of a league if a 5 link would still be an upgrade for me, but when going for a 6 link specifically I can just spam click.

If you want to get a 6link,its the easiest to become a streamer,becasue chris sees that you are not shy and talk with people,so what he does is drops you not only a 6link,but he multiplies your RNG by around 150%,so you can enjoy your game,and shit all over your viewers,cause chris doesnt care about them...

Here's one method: farm an Oni-Goroshi.
i did it with 7 fuse, but took me over 300 of jeweller to get 6 socket lol
8 characters on HC ssf. Only gotten 1 6L once this league. It’s not easy even farming tabby
How hard can it be to farm a tabula? People do it consistent every single league countlessly?
@@averagetoelite856 farmed 5 character from 62-70 there. only got 6 cards. also farmed all my fragments and got 5 vanity cards.
@@Eqnotalent I think there is the key problem. You have to keep farming. But compared to the drop rates of other div cards its a relieble method to get it.
@@Eqnotalent You have been extremely unlucky, I had 22 cards from 2 characters who farmed some levels in BA, just did one run for nostalgia now and got 3 cards.. one from random mob/box, one from orange spider and one from abyss, the legion crystal average loot. So maybe today is lucky day for farming BA. (0 MF gear, scl) a few moments later ...2 more runs 1 carrion card, used up all my luck for today.
Tabula farming can be really variant. I've farmed a full Tabula in Blood Aqueduct in 3 hours before but also I've gone long stretches without getting any cards at all. For div card farming it's really just a matter or time and clear speed, but there is still a fair amount of luck involved. I'm playing SSF right now and I'll probably skip the tabula unless I hit a point in maps I can't progress any more without a 6 link. Try Channel farming instead since you can roll high monster density and quantity to increase your odds!
I dnt know with 6 link but all my 5 link i get was using under 20 fusion orbs

130 fusions to get a 6 link (luckily), or just buy an exalt with the fusions and trade the exalt for that kickass 6 link item you're looking at.
extremely lucky more like it. the average is 1500 fusings if I recall right.

You'll notice at 5:14 when I've actually 6 linked it I get a message that says "Failed to apply item Item Already Has Maximum Number of Socket Links" You can't accidentally roll over a 6 link, which is why so many people click so fast when linking.
Be weary of that mate. Some armors and weapons graphic make them look like 6links, and are used to scam people. Just an fyi ALWAYS double check. Got scammed the other day for 3 ex this very way.

There are more methods these days since I posted the video. You can run corrupted strongboxes with the new Atlas passive trees in Glennach Cairns called "Tamper Proof" Pretty nice for getting some extra 6 links. Also they are fairly common in rituals (the current league) and you can Harvest craft them as well now. Maybe I'll do a follow-up video.

That sucks dude, I know the feeling. In Synthesis League I used all of my fuses and never successfully fused a 6 link. I know I went through thousands but I'm not sure of the exact number. This league, however, I've managed to self link 5 or so armors and an axe. Fusing luck can be tricky, have you tried the Kuduku method? (lol)

Not in the beginning of a league or if they don't have one yet. Obviously if you are to the stage of your build where you need a best in slot 6 link you should either just save up to buy it (which I mentioned as the easiest way) or attempt to link it yourself.
@@BehindEyesGamingPOE Gotta agree a bit though .. theres a difference between just getting any 6-link and getting a useful 6-link. Mainly refering to the 'tip' about getting corrupted 6-links .. and then what? The chance that it has the exact 6 socket colors you need is very unlikely, and you can't change them (nor change the mods if they're useless). Sure its a way to get 6-links, but not pointing out that it likely won't be of any use other than selling for a divine orb seems like a trap for inexperienced players that may try to go farming one from watching this.

@@ino145 Me too; I played Necromancer in D2, and WD/NM in D3. Switched to PoE because I can do zombiemancer the way it should have been done in D3.
Funny enough, I knew about whirlwind from D3, and looked up "whirlwind" in the PoE wiki, thinking that might have been what you meant by "WW", but there is no such skill. Thanks for the info. My next character might be a marauder or templar working up to a Cyclone build.
