The sounds really change the dynamics and enjoyment of the aircraft, would highly recommend to anyone with the PMDG 737.
Loving the videos, keep up the good work!
You are on fire with the vids last couple of days....
The whole 1:05:28 sequence is hilarious.
Maybe Boris can make a sound set for GSX. Whenever you activate their services, circus clown music ensues 😂
😂😂😂
This is by far the best sound mod out there! I’m so happy flying the 737 now 😂
It sucks we pay pmdg a premium $70+ per variant and yet still need to spend $10 more on a 3rd party sound pack. And pmdg is supposed to be a/the top tier developer. I don't get it
Although I love PMDG for their extensive optimization. It really sucks that we have to pay an extra Product that really costs a lot.
But oh well Inibuilds is charging 9£ for more performance I guess it doesn’t seem to suck anymore when looking at it from this perspective.
I mean, you don't NEED to get it to enjoy the plane. I personally find the default sounds quite fine. They're certainly not bad. It's just that the soundpack is better.
I don't need this soundpack, Pmdg sounds are good.
@Star-bp5jj my comment isn't as obvious as it seems. There are other products where the sound is so poor it interferes with enjoyment. The pmdg is not one of them.
@@slizzy418 and for it to use the 2024 sdk fully
Its a MUST..
2020 doesn’t crash in the main menu and the airports load just a thought 😅. I bought the pack as seemed really good and completed few flights. Very rusty on the 737 as not used in a while but is fun to fly.
I apologize if you’ve already made this video- but I would love a video where you walk through all your environmental add-ons you have (sounds/gsx/ai liveries etc)
Hi, I basically keep the sim as default as possible. I think the only ones I use on all vids are GSX, vRAAS and FSTraffic/FSLTL for liveries.
Apart from that you only have the aircraft and airports as individual addons.
Usually into Edinburgh on a good day its direct TARTN when contacting Scottish Centre and then vectors once contacting approach
I’ve noticed that in all your videos, the aircraft’s audio (except for the engines, I believe) sounds like it’s being recorded externally rather than directly from your computer. It seems as if the screen recorder is capturing the video correctly from inside the system, but the audio is being picked up by a microphone recording the sound from your speakers instead of capturing it internally.
2:20 unfortunately, a few days before this video dropped KLM had it repainted to a new variant where the blue paint reaches all the way to under the radome. So no straight livery anymore for any KLM aircraft im afraid
Been waiting for this video since it was announced
Thanks for doing a review of this. I was waiting to hear your opinion! To my ears this is a vast improvement on the PMDG sounds, in particular the engine sounds. I agree the nose wheel "scraping" sound seems a little bit over done, but that's the only quibble I have. Emi, I could be wrong, but your video here sounds quite different to Boris's trailer. It almost sounds like your aircraft sounds have a slight bathroomy echo on them. Tell me, when you record your videos, do you do it with speakers on or headphones? If you use speakers, I wonder if your mic is picking up the aircraft sounds from your speakers and as a result we are hearing a double sound with a slight delay between the two? That's the only thing I can think of that might explain the phenomenon.
the micro stutters is caused by the nvidia app overlay. Disable and try again it should fix the micro stuttering... i have 14900k with 4080 and no stutters whatsoever on max everything settings 1440p res.
I always wondered how developers get specific cockpit sounds - it's all just Emi standing next to the trim wheel with a microphone lol
JustFlight has some nice videos documenting how they record their sounds. I can highly recommend to check those out!
I bought it a few days ago... very nice!👌🏼
Its so amazing, well done boris, 777 also would be very great
Wild that sounds make such a marked difference in your sim experience
Ah yes, 737 content 🔥
1:47 I thought that the stall warning works only after 3-4 minutes on GPU power/APU, isnn't it?
Awesome video as usual. There's a software available now for MSFS which gives you DLSS options. Now I run the game at almost 60 fps everywhere even though i'm only using a GTX3060.
what software is this? Thanks
@@InvertedAim_ Cant remember the name. TH-cam it, there's lots of videos for helping.
MSFS always had DLSS.
@@Quotenwagnerianer Yes but not the newest version, which gives you framegen.
@@jespernielsen6678 DLSS does not give you FG. RTX cores do. So you need a 40xx card at least.
I love this sound pack. May I suggest the wear and tear mod for the 737. It gives the 737 a nice used look.
"You have breaks, use them, hold position"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I try not to be too sassy 😂
Hay mate, pleasure to welcome you to Edinburgh, keep up the good work.
EGPH_GND ✈️
UAE57X but that’s your fault 😂
Thank you very much, Emirates Ground 😂
Awesome sound pack I love it
I was wondering why you actually didn't cut anything out of the video like you said. Then I saw what the Turkish 777 was doing....
Bagage Handling in the Front 600 kg... Is that additional Cargo or passengers baggages? 153 passengers 25 kg each = 3825 kg baggages
That's baggage and cargo combined.
There's a huge misconception about the bags carried by pax in flight simming. Go to your nearest airport and look at the passengers you see there. How many actually check in bags? And how much do those actually weight?
When I checked the weight of my bag I could barely get it over 13kg even when fully packed on my holidays. Sure, the wife may bring it up higher, but I find it close to impossible to get a standard type suitcase up to 23 or 25kg.
My current airline actually measures the real bags weights during checkin for the loadsheet and my former airline used 13kg per bag. And most pax didn't even have bags.
Even now, on the A330 in long haul ops, we typically don't have more than 4-5t of bags on board with 300 passengers and when flying to holiday destinations.
@@A330Driver yeah with a wife and 3 small kids believe me it's possible LOL
Hello Emanuel.
I flew 21x 737-800 and 1x 737-700.
What I have noticed about the 738s during descend is, that when the Engines spool down to flight idle, you hear all the time a humming buzz sound (lautes Brummen).
Especially when the engines are not completly in flight idle and obviously following VNAV PATH.
Do you know what causes the humming buzz sound?
It basically lasts until touch down, but only when N1 has a lower RPM.
Funny, I have the opposite issue with performance. 2020 runs flawlessly and 2024 has a lot of stutters and drops in frames
Now we need wing textures and modelling like on the Fenix (pax view) and I am back for the 737. Sad, that PMDG is not able to do that on a product this expensive. They're only good at sys depth. But modelling, animations and sound were never their USP.
Does you briefing the rejected takeoff and evacuation procedures have something to do with flying the KLM 737 or is that just a coincidence? 😆
It sounds really good, but when you hear someone calling out goedenavond (good evening) when it is half past twelve on the chronometer that does sound a little off....minor mistakes, promising development in FS
That had nothing to do with the soundpack.
@FTStratLP point taken, was it Vatsim? It sounded very convincing
Are you full time HOTAS now with Orion 2 set?
Ich dachte schon bei mir funktioniert der Sound nicht, da man im Cockpit vom engine Start wirklich fast nichts mitbekommt 😩
I got that soundpack and I love it. It makes the 737 brandnew for me.
More soundpacks for the Fenix and Maddog are on my wishlist.
Fenix? I’m not sure sounds could get much better.
@@joshuaspop8865
The sound in the Fenix is actually ok, at least with the IAE engines. I find the CFM a bit too shrill.
@ even Boris (who did the 737 sounds) said he can’t do better than the includes Fenix sounds.
@@joshuaspop8865
Ah, good to know.
@petergorniak7277 the fenix soundtrack is great never heard anyone say that it's bad but sounds are subjective anyway... still I find it ridiculous one finds the fenix soundtrack weird
What settings you have your mouse on?
is the rumbling sound during taxi while turning accurate to the real world? 31:35 for example, its the only thing i dislike about the soundpack, feels like something is broken lol
If you’re talking about the tire rubbing sounds yes. This is realistic. It’s been adjusted multiple times and confirmed by a real life 737 pilot on the beta team.
What ofp layout r u using for simbrief
I don't have "tickling" fan sound after turning bat on. Why?
Analog standby instruments - that's what makes it
@@hotshot4512tkank you. I will try it.
35:37 - 🤣🤣🤣
Do u have frame gen enabled in 2020 I don’t think so. And you have frame gen enabled on 2024 so that’s not really fair is it. 2024 frames tank for me
Even with frame gen enabled on 2020 for me I still get micro stutters compared to 2024. Believe it or not the performance on 2024 is miles better than 2020. I simply do not get why people can not accept that. The fact that even after the third update for 2024, I saw massive FPS gains from 80 up to 120FPS with absolutely no change in setting or hardware at all. Pair that as well that I have not had any CTD anymore with the latest updates and streaming has been improved. Yes there are still bugs and all but overall the sim on the performance side is pretty good.
This livery is gone sinds 2 weeks ago unfortunately. KLM painted this bird in the new livery...
Hi, at 06:40 you activate the route but did not press execute, why is that? Thanks!
Hi, that's because execution of the route is used as a safety barrier. You only execute it after the route check is completly during the briefing.
@@A330Driver Thanks!
in msfs2024 the pmdg737-800 doesnt work i dont know why i can start the plane but i cant align the irs the section where you put your postion doesnt appear in the fmcs , and sometimes the plane just freezes .
in msfs2020 it works well
That’s because it’s not compatible with 2024 yet.
@@joshuaspop8865It works though. Just need to start on a runway with engines running, then change to desired panel state and then use GSX to spawn back to the desired gate.
@ yeah, I tried it, but increasing the SIM rate messes stuff up, and other things. I’ll just wait until it’s actually compatible.
@ not all can do it sadly
Because it is not compatible. PMDG are still working on getting it compatible and I believe they said they are building a new version for 2024 that takes advantage of all the new features down the line.
Would have been better if you didn’t talk during acceleration so we could have heard the engine sound better. Or simply lower your voice volume
Will this come to xbox?
pmdg 737 is compatible with msfs 2024?
Is the overspeed sound working??
I didn't try to fly the plane into the clacker, but the test function works.
I still fly on msfs2020
Weniger Microstutterer, dafür fast jedesmal eine Sekunde Standbild über der threshold 😅
Das Soundset ist der Wahnsinn geworden 👍🏼
Does it beat the ftsim sound pack tho?
Yes, it does.
For me its quite the opposite , my performance is worse on fs24.
not sure why he said this. You saw his recent landing video in the fenix 320?
That was an absolute stutter fest and now he says performance is great on 2024 xD
and btw he has a top level pc. Especially VRAM kills the whole game if you dont have at least a 2000€ graphics card with 24gb Vram.
This game is nuts. Every landing and departure is a slide show.
@@fanki1730I do have a 6gb 2060 and I can play FS20 very smooth at medium settings with Frame Gen On but TAA. Altough I’m getting the same fps at low settings TAA and frame gen at FS24. But I can’t complain Fs20 is 400gb in size but Fs24 is just 60gb
The transition altitude is 5000 feet in the Netherlands right? 40:42
3000
Sounds not really that different and the radio chatter doesn't help.
Oh it's different
The performance is may worse for you, but for me 2024 is almost unplayable.
I bought the 737 in marketplace :(
Soundpack still works with that
@hotshot4512 yeh but idk how to get the 737 since I bought it in the marketplace and not pmdg website
Emirates 777 at 1:05:30 WTF?
