Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates! My family is now across the country so I'm just at home with my parents today, it feels like a regular day. I did get a new keyboard though, i'm pretty happy about that. I hope if you aren't celebrating that you're relaxed and still having a good time, and if you are i hope you're eating some good food and trying not to talk about politics with your family, until next time, jack and his big sister thank you, good night - เพลง

I wonder at this point in time if Meg was thinking - this is as far as it will go. Tiny street fairs and Metro Detroit bars - just give Jack his outlet. Let him play and create. I'll borrow drum kits from the Henchmen, he'll call me his little or big sister, we'll sell some 7" records and this will be the limit of testing my social anxiety. I'll never have to play live in front of millions on tv, or hundreds of thousands at festivals hundreds of times - I'll never have to take center stage and sing solo... this is just an easy occasional Saturday night in a bar. I can do this... for Jack... my ex husband.
i feel like the last scene of jack playing white moon in great white northern lights showcases this emotion heavily. who really knows the context as to why their marriage ended, but i can never help but think she absolutely adored the man.
Were they divorced at this point? I thought that was after the first album? I'm probably wrong though

Lochlann Turner no they divorced in 2000ish
@@giannaluva65 that's what I thought thanks
Didn't know I needed the White Stripes covering Bowie but I'm glad I found it
Jack talks funny in the beginning just to mess with people. Everyone goes huh? What was that? He wanted to see if they were listening or not. Hilarious!
lol "sounds like a weirdo" little does she know what she's witnessing
This beginning is too perfect to be real
best Bowie cover......EVER.....and what does she know about a good voice.....
Holy shit this is early. Super dope!!
The girl chatting away to close to the recording microphones 🙈🙊🙉. Its 23 years later and he is the epitome of rock and roll... I wonder if she has ever seen this video!
Iggy Pop is the Epitome of Rock n’Roll, he don’t need covers to fill his set.He always sings is own songs and he don’t need to sound like Robert Plant!
Also Iggy is from Detroit too, but he moved to Chicago fo the blues. Iggy can beat the skins till their heads are busted his hands are bloodied with wood and glass. He don’t need no guitar. Just show up with a Berlin Drag Queen while Bowie strums the tune to Nightclubbing on a Ukelele, and Iggy channels the Bright Light Clubbing like a twisted n trashy deep-voiced commanding urban demon of all pleasures energizing our timid and volatile ways opening our brains for the nights star light to bath us in Angel’s Dust!
Love how raw this fking great
Cartoonishly angry Jack at the end of One More Cup of-f-f- CAWFAY is great.
Zane Seibert LMAO I didn't hear that until now!
i'm so glad you've uploaded these old shows. i used to grab these from the little room forum but that's all gone now... and so are the ipods and hard drives that had these...
He sounded like an announcer from the 30s in the beginning lol
Anyone else put this on and dream how amazing it would’ve been to be there?
«Sounds like a weirdo» at the start
The recording is great - this is a typical Detroit bar band playing their set while people are sitting at four top tables drinking beer and talking. The band is just live music for background. Trying to figure out where the pictures are from; definitely not Magic Bag. Maybe a bar in Hamtramck. Paycheck's Lounge had the Metro Times sign behind Meg and the beamed ceiling but can't place the first photo. Great collection keep 'em comin'.
gold dollar
It looks like northern lights lounge before they added the back room addition
@@jetsamperes5762 they played many times 1997 to 2000
GRACIAS JACK
Hope you had a great Christmas dude. I was born 13 days after this gig, on the 10th of December 1998. Share my birthday with Meg, fucking cool I know!
Happy late birthday! It's your last year as a teenager, an age at which I'm approaching too fast, I'm graduating in May :( This year is going by too fast
slicker drips was totally smashing!!
2:29 "Okay...I liked him until he talked." HAHAHA X-D

Vera Travis i want you to figure this out by yourself so you can learn from your mistakes
This is a great Christmas present! Merry Christmas, Aaron.
A woman says in the beginning after Jack talks funny that he sounds like a weirdo! That’s funny! He does sound funny the way he’s talking. But the gig is still good!
Liquid gold !

Is that a Dumble in the pic?
This guy sounds like a weirdo
I also got a keyboard, Will be fun to switch from guitar to key board playing songs I'm Finding it harder and i want to be the boy
Hearthis bitch I do the same thing!!!!!
AaronLikesSpaghetti You a guitar player too??????
Hearthis Indeed I am lmao
I only have an acoustic guitar though so I just kind of improvise on WS songs lol
acoustic? you make me sick :(
I have one too, but it's okay because I have 3x more electrics.
I've had a keyboard for like 7 years, a piano for like 5 years and guitars since my dad passed 4 Christmasses ago.
Prehistoricman I don't have the money for na electric one but hopefully I get one for my birthday in March. I have one guitar, three keyboards now, one that doesn't work, one I found in my garage from when I was 10 that's shitty, and the one I got today, and an electronic drum set that I broke lmao
Sorry about your dad tho, that sucks
Anyone else think jack is tipsy here? 🤣🤣💀
and its his little sister....not big sister...thx
Weren't they married until 2000 though?
I fought Piranha with different lyrics. Wow.
.... where??
“Sounds like a weirdo”
I think Jack was horrible to Meg.
PEW stinky! How did they EVER go anywhere! I do love Seven Nation Army.
