- We back with another one!!! Today we're giving y'all Jean Montero's full season highlights at OTE! You already know Jean was one of OTE's top hoopers this year and ended up walking away with the scoring record for OTE's first season! He truly is the floor general at OTE- if he's not pulling up from Curry-like range, he's dropping DIMES to his bigs looking for lobs or finishing tough shots on the break. He's been proving all year that he's PRO READY! So we put together every insane play from Jean's breakout year at OTE. Jean's been killing it at the NBA Draft Combine so far and know he's gonna do BIG THINGS for whatever team is lucky enough to grab him in June 👀

I’m impressed! He should be in the Knicks Summer League squad and the Knicks NBA Fall training camp, in 2022 for an opportunity to play for the Knicks this season.

Longtime Knicks fan here, I love the look of this guy, unfortunately he got drafted by a Rookie Hating Coach, he will be a G leaguer for the Knicks, I will be AMAZED if Thibs give him 20 minutes of playtime THE ENTIRE SEASON. Lets be real he will get NO playtime ...
He will definitely be in the G-league but did the Knicks get him because they plan to trade IQ and McBride 🤔
The Thibs hate 🤦🏽♂️… there’s a reason he went undrafted… if you expect him to get that kind of time on any team trying to win basketball games, you have the wrong impression of where his game is. He is hella raw.

@@marcjay077 With what Champagne Popdat said, Jean Montero is a project while the Knicks figure out the right starting PG. Keels they drafted as well but he's a two guard. SG and PG.
I'm Dominican 🇩🇴 and I'm happy Montero is getting a chance to play in the NBA after going for the draft this year. Chris Duarte got drafted last season for Pacers and he's Dominican too. NBA got 3 Dominican players in the draft.
Montero was one of the three but I have to learn about the other two. Montero has potential and he's 18. I'll be rooting for him but in a big market like NY, I don't know if he can play at a high level here where fans can cheer and boo you any moment.
He's better off in a small market team. Less pressure for him to perform and play well compared to a big market team like the Knicks in NY. Great to see more Dominican players coming to NBA the last couple years outside of MLB.
Al Horford is the best Dominican and veteran at the moment with success but he's a good NBA player nonetheless.

This kid looks interesting. Clearly he has work to do but at 18, there is enough there for a flyer. His handles seem tight, can go left or right, and seems to have good mechanics on his shot. Let's see what he looks like in the Summer League. A quick 6'3 18 yo PG is a good start. Welcome to the Knicks...rep the 🇩🇴 kid!

Just from what I have seen in this clip, he seems like a good passer, good court vision. Unfortunately Thibodeu is coach of the Knicks so he'll be in the g league or on the bench.
