Hi how many years will it take to grow to 7 feet tall? I am thinking to use camellia sasanqua as privacy hedge for one side of my property, the other sides will be Ligustrum. But my landscaper said these are a lot slower growing compared to Ligustrum. But I really love camellia hedge look.
I had mine for three years and had to trim it down because it grew above the six feet I wanted. I just stuck it in the dirt, fed it lightly every 3 months and watered it once or twice a week. It ended up massive and beautiful in 5 years. I just lost it two weeks ago when I sold my home.

If you have good soil and water weekly they might grow 7ft in 4-5 years.
