** COUPLE OF MANDATORY EDITS MADE (THOUGH NOT SURE WHAT) **
"Mark Lawson talks to Python and globetrotting national treasure Michael Palin about his childhood and early career days. He recalls some of the highs and lows of the famous ensemble and regales Mark with a German rendition of the Lumberjack song. Palin has been a successful writer, comedian and broadcaster for nearly fifty years. After his early global success with Monty Python, he reinvented himself as our favourite Englishman abroad with his prolific travelogues, as well as an author of novels and diaries."

Michael Palin is a nice, likable, relaxed, and funny man who only rarely attacks an interviewer.

Palin is perhaps my favorite entertainer that I don’t know personally. I love that guy’s comments and attitude on everything

Cripes, an interviewer that lets their guest talk. Whatever happened to Mark?

Of course Palin’s last name has always been pronounced as we all know it to be, but at one time Cleeses’ name was actually Cheese!

What's interesting about this, is the "Red Herring" about the small Python reunion when plans were already underfoot to stage their shows at the O2!
