The way you started out with nature elements is fenomonal! And the house as having one big open area where Sims can dine and live in style with no patching issues is brilliant. You make it look minimalistic while not empty. I really love what you did with that kitchen.

Kate, I really wanted to thank you for your words of encouragement. I've recorded a few of my builds and got really discouraged during the editing process. I've been so frustrated by it, I pretty much stopped working on a few builds I've been working on and am not playing any of my households either because of that frustration. Your encouragement really has helped me gain confidence to keep going and to try again with the editing process. I realize that even if all I do is put the clips together and speed them up and upload them, it's doing more than nothing and i can always add to them later. I'm going to keep coming back to this video to listen to your words any time I feel stuck or discouraged or afraid to continue. Thank you for boosting my courage and I hope have something soon I can share

Do you plan your building before you build them? Or do you just think more less how is it gonna look?
Most builders plan it, especially for bigger projects. I’m pretty sure she would I don’t :)
Too much planning i think. She posts every few days. Maybe just a draft but then goes with the flow and makes a masterpiece
i think i remember her saying in a different video that she gets inspired and then just starts building and adds as she goes along !! but i'm sure between different builds there's a mixture of inspiration and planning:D

Oh. My. Goddess. Absolutely stunning and seeing those walls makes me think you should try a castle/mansion/chateau type of thing.
I can't say I was here from the start, I think I found you with your L-shaped stairs 2.0 tutorial. So about a year-ish as the videos earlier than that don't ring any bells (although I have seen many earlier ones since then). For what it's worth, it takes a lot for me to sub to someone and you are 1 of only 2 Sims YT'ers I sub to, James Turner being the other. I knew after just a couple of videos that you'd be worth it and you haven't disappointed. You should be proud of what you do and what you build, it's obvious you put a lot of thought and effort into what you do. :-)
Lastly, thank you kindly for mentioning the TOOL mod update. I probably would have missed it.

This is the first video ive seen of yours and I think I just got a masterclass in building - ive been feeling for ages that there arent enough paintings to use in builds (and way too many stickers haha) so definitely going to use your tricks for finding sims painted ones!

Came to see the mansion and building tricks, stayed for de amazing emotional massage. Honestly you made emotional, the first video that I watched from you was a base game mansion building that my friend send me because she wanted me to build it for her, and then I just had to watch the rest of your videos, they’re stunning. I sometimes want to start my own channel but believe that I’m not creative enough and english is also my second language, I’ll give that a second thought . I love this build. ♥ Especially exterior, interior is great as well, but the exterior - just wow! And I don't know why, but it reminds me of some type of hotel, I think this build would go well as a hotel. ♥
And I still wonder which one is the front side of the build - the one with the waterfall or the other one? I'm not sure because as I sad it would look great as a hotel (near the beach) for me, so this huge long pathway would be to the green/relax area behind the hotel which would lead right to the beach.

That looks cool, but I put it where the Frye's house was in Windenburg because the entrance not lining up with the street, where you put it, triggers my OCD. Excellent job though

Oh yeah Kate everything you say about the floors deciding to just disappear - :O - So I have just got City Living and I am having fun building a hotel/restaurant/generic lot. I took inspiration from the Glasgow Hilton. I am building it on the Center Park lot and I am finding this problem even without having glass roofs. But I did use a few crystal floors for a walkway and I did not size them up or down. It might be because the walkway is in an enclosed room, but I really want the interior room to have no floor above with a walkway. I hope I don't come across anymore glitches. I will upload soon. I am working on the rooms now. Of course we be needing moo to download. It has been a great journey with you, you have really helped me a lot as a builder - I mainly build.
Now I have a new problem. It's not recognising rooms and being daylight instead of normal. I will approach that again once I have slept.

I was having an issue with the glass roofs too, my ceilings kept mysteriously disappearing and I was searching online forever for what was causing it. Finally I came across a thread where someone mentioned glass roofs and I had a lot of those on my build and after removing those it stopped my ceilings from disappearing
