I got the seeds I want to grow, I'm gonna focus more on herbs and greens thisyear. I got a couple more pots to plant in. been composting continuously so I got additional organic matter to add to my soil. I'll probably buy a couple bags of organic potting soil in the next couple months
Great video on planning to start the gardening season off !! I need to decide on how I'm going to start my tomato plants. I have go through my gardening supplies and see what I have. Yup corn is affordable in season!! I have enough Epsom salt, bone meal, blood meal, peat moss, and black kow, think i gotta get more compost or soil, some for starting plants and topping off the existing buckets. *Have a good'nnn*
2023 not by original design but I think for the most part all the food plants aren’t going to get started this year. I dedicated my first round of grow mats space to flowers for the front of the house this year and I continued with the second round on the heat mats continuing and have a third round to do on the heat mat. I did get a single tray of kajari melon seeds started so they might be the only food plants started for the year. I may look at adding a watermelon. I bought three chayote to sprout and plant but I walked the kids back from school and spotted squash vine borer moths flying around on the walk home. So now I’m going to cook that and maybe go get a packet of watermelon or maybe just skip the food plant plans. I did plant out all my raspberry and blackberry and strawberry from growing containers onto the ground so that’s something. I have four fruit trees and two figs that survived the ice freeze so that’s good although I lost more than made it through the ice.
Great tips John and having a redneck dog would be the greatest thing that ever happened to you😂. Take care and have a blessed rest of the week my friend.

Great advice on inventory
Great advice, John, as we prepare for Spring gardening. Definitely enjoy raised bed gardening for the reasons you stated, too.
I have no seed starting mix ands seed starting begins in 2 weeks.
Great advice John. Folks can learn much from you. Those are your dogs John so they are Bostonians. 😆
