I have been looking at 5th wheels and travel trailers.😭 For months now. This is The 1st travel trailer that i have liked!
The kitchen counter space is perfect! I love all the storage in the kitchen!
The bedroom...i like all the walk around room and storage as well, even the safe is a good touch!
Absolutely as cozy as cozy can get!
I honestly do not have anything bad to say about it!
Would be perfect for us to haul around and see the country and with it being a Brinkley, i know it would hold up!
I will do some more research on this unit... i also saw there was a 295. I haven't looked at it yet. Not sure what pluses or minuses it has, but will see what it offers.

I love this, I'm just stuck on the seating. I'd be tempted to add somewhere to eat on the island, with an extension, and take out the table, putting a hide-a-bed there. The ottoman are great, I really like those, very versatile. I love that the sink and cook top are centralised.
I think the trash can drawer should have 2 in it, one for trash and one for recycling. Some great storage in this. The size of the desk is great. I love the height, we have a lot of 6ft 2" men in my family.
nothing to dislike in the bathroom, I love a decent size shower.
The bedroom is classy, I love the way the storage under the bed is set out, much more versatile. And great to have somewhere for my book and a glass!
Brinkley has to be one of my favourites.

Perfect for weekenders they nailed it . For semi or full timers bedroom is to small king bed is needed maybe even a bedroom slide fire place in the bedroom is great .😊

Love the kitchen and all the kitchen space and countertop everything is perfectly spaced. Only two seats to watch TV.... I feel like there should be at least four. Put a loft in this thing and it's practically perfect

Brinkley got a strike on this one. Didn't see anything I didn't like. I've had the chance to walk through a few of their 5th wheels at shows and I saw firsthand how clean the fit and finish is on these. Don't change your style. You're doing a great job.

Great travel trailer and we would have waited for this one if the living/kitchen space would have been flipped so dining and theatre seats were on camp side. We do really love the bedroom fireplace and underbed storage. Wish they could do the same in the Z2900 that we've ordered. This will be our first fifth wheel so wish us luck. LOL

I just found your TH-cam channel. I like your style and your thorough review. As I near retirement, I am keeping an eye out for a potential full-time living RV. I love the quality materials used in Brinkley. In reviewing a lot of videos, I've learned plumbing in RVs can be a huge problem. Many manufactures plumb incorrectly, in a way that would never meet housing code, but they get away with it in RV construction. Brinkly is among those, especially on its 5th wheel 2900. I'm curious if you have any thoughts on that issue regarding the 285 Air?

Brinkley has some of the best quality and innovation out there, no question.
The decor for me anyway has an office feel and not a Residencial feel.
My only complaint

Okay, it's nice Brinkley considered well made and has light colored cabinets but this floor plans sucks, especially compared to our 2020 FR v-21 that is same size but also a toyhaulers complete with rear patio.
1st is narrow entrance that will get scratched up loading, then one has to look over island for tv. And forget that small wall dining table that squeezes people together. Next is smaller passthrough storage compared to same length v-21 that has 2 vis-vis sofa dining that handles 6 and so roomy one can sleep on or fully longer in each to watch tv and still so roomy can use as office complete with file storage at fingers and printer.
Then has unique vertical shed with shelves to set up fishing poles and organize all vertically so no more digging stuff out to get at back stuff. It's all acordian upright including rugs, tents, drills, tackle boxes, ladders, bbq.
And only 1 slide to maint. for king bed that even offers a bureau with on suite 2+ person bath. With 1 king bed slide all kitchen, bath, frig is completely accessible during travel and pet and toddler rainy day play running around the bed, bath open floor loop around.
Brinkley would be better off putting island in rear and table in middle to open that floor plan as it's tight for 2 people. How's person at table supposed to see TV or person washing dishes. All this money for slide outs but uncomfortable layout the many days it rains.
The big frig is a plus but can it be accessed during travel days? And with slide out into patio, it's pretty difficult to tether or fence the pet as have to crawl underneath slide and we ain't getting any younger. And it can't even bring a golf cart, cycle or kayaks. It's more like a lot of money to attempt to sit in a squished hotel room on rainy days where our 30 foot not only has like bedroom, large 2bath but a whole queen loft that doubles as an interior attic. On top of 6 person dining that turns into yet another queen or 2 twins along with the queen loft and king bedroom.
Now that speaks adult guests or kids with grandkids all in a 30 ft.
There's too much wasted space in kitchen and not enough where people actually are most of time around TV and table eating, crafts, games and filing taxes or planning route. Why does the dish washer have to miss movie?
Love the Brinkley and love your reviews. One thing (and you say this in every video): it is not a "three stove top burner"; it is a "three burner stove top"!

Hey Hunter, is there anyway you can take a video of the inside of the Z285 Brinkley and just have the accent lights on and shut all the other lights off to see what it looks like at night?
Have you improved the plumbing?
Some of the larger door enclosures seem to have soft close, but not the drawers, as he had to give them a full push to close them? One should have them similar to residential being added these days, with a simple push they fully close on their own...not a huge deal, but a simple convenience. Something not mentioned, that perhaps should be, is a quality fan over the stove, exiting to the outside, as that's not even something we have in our Class A motorhome! While cooking often there can be a lot of steam if cooking pasta, or if it's raining outdoors and you're forced to cook burgers inside, an exiting fan blower to push that outside is important. Also, if say you burn some toast, an exiting fan could suck out even a minimal amount of smoke so the detectors don't go off, although I know it has the big max air ceiling fan, but this above stove exiting fan can be very helpful. Didn't notice him mention any USB-C outlets within the bedroom cubby's (just 110v) which I heard the 29' trailer does? Will be keeping an eye out for if/when one comes with a King bed! Well constructed, and over the years, I'm sure Brinkley will be adding some nice features, where the actually LISTEN to it's customers!
You mentioned you did not think you had seen two fireplaces in a travel trailer before, you actually have. You did a video not too long ago on the Primetime Lacrosse 3411RK and was blown away with that model and it had two fireplaces.

It's nice, but I'm waiting for something closer to the Z3100 5th wheel. Refrigerators don't belong in the back of an RV where everything gets bounced around the most, seating needs to be on the camp side, the tiny, toy, plastic sink in the bathroom just doesn't fit with the quality of the rest of the trailer, and it needs a king bed option. You completely skipped over the fact that it is a tankless water heater, but I think I saw the control for it under the bathroom sink. I don't think that is a good location for it. I enjoyed your presentation but you could be a bit smoother with the camera movements. It was a bit fast and shaky at times.
What is that round hatch in the pantry?
Using the same hardware and Chinese press board and Glue as a 20k Trailer. But the advertisement is pure quality. 🤣 🤣 🤣 their all Built the same.
Where in the North East Pennsylvania area can you bring these to be serviced. That is a huge deterrent to us purchasing this. We need to know where authorized work can be done. Anyone know?
I was hoping it would've been a traditional rear living as that's our fav layout, but other than that I like it. I do prefer the kitchen on the non camp side tho.

Price would be Super nice. But wardrobe need!! remove hooks & fp reverse for w& dryer. Then super nice!! I love dealers adding the gold hardware now in with the black n white sharper touch

That north to south bed, another x Brinkley. In every 5th wheel I've seen with your name on it is out of the park. This one belongs on the zoo. No storage for clothes. So that person who is working on the road obviously has no clothes to speak of as there's no place to put them. No place for a cpap machine either. I do like the safe built into the floor. The hooks are right above the fireplace, thou electric still a fire hazard.
There is a cubby for a c-pap with outlets - there’s actually a cpap in it, in this video! There is also a massive closet in the bedroom
Wait, you mean I've gotta buy a 5th wheel from Brinkley on order to get a slide out pantry. Seriously Brinkley, wtf. Short people will have to pull everything out just to get back into the rear most part of the pantry to get stuff out and those overhead cabinets are just as bad

It's not just Brinkley, but almost all rvs have hooks over the toilet for your bsth towels. Gross!🤮 Who in their right minds would want their bath towel hanging there?!?!?? I figured that a male made that decision. Or possibly a woman who wasn't raised right! It's a disgusting feature, and I can't wait for someone in the industry to address this utterly unsanitary issue. As much as I like this little trailer, without a slide out in the bedroom and king-sized bed, I would definitely pass on it. Also, why only these black appliances? Come on, they don't offer any other finishes on appliances. Honestly, there is nowhere to put the machine my husband needs for his breathing machine at night. Other than those things mentioned, I admire Brinkley's commentment to qualify. I pray they don't lose or start compromising on that. At they're price point, they most certainly need to deliver. You, however, do a fantastic job of showcasing the RVs. I hope you do well an "hunny bun" finally gets those counter tops she been dreaming and hoping for!

You didn’t spend enough time on the exterior…like explaining the seperate manual grey tank dump for the kitchen, or covering the suspension which alot of seasoned campers care about. And if you want to lose followers, keep going with the corny bowling references. People want the facts and don’t care what your hobby is.
