Being a homebrewer and Social Media Manager for a 7bbl brewery in SC, I am fascinated and inspired by this series. It's so cool to see the development and the deep dive into all the different areas of Treehouse. Thank you for doing this and I look forward to more.
The best part of these videos is that despite the daily, weekly, yearly grind of making TH what it is today Nate still gets completely geeked out by can labels and hop inventory! Love and respect the passion and joy.
not totally surprised but still incredibly impressed with Nate's detailed knowledge about everything throughout this series. he's got the TH rolodex of random numbers (quantity, volume, capacity, etc.) on lock. this video is great and this series continues to be incredibly enjoyable!
Well starting a brewery now, it’s important to know it’s a VERY different market now and to think you can go from a 10 gal setup to 60 bbl is VERY risky. As a brewer of 15 years and been in the industry for a over a dozen years, the envy is certainly real seeing all these videos:) Hoping to one day make a visit to the brewery, as I haven’t been back to Massachusetts since early 2014. I’m working on my own brewery FINALLY, but in no way do I expect for it to grow much beyond what it’s going to start as (hopefully no smaller than 5 bbl or having to use my 30 gal homebrew setup from 2014). Could I find investors, and go bigger, sure, but I don’t like outside money and the people that usually have it. You don’t make much as a brewer in a lot of places, so settling on small and just focus on local is the plan. I sure would love if I had just jumped in with my own place back in 2012 and see where that got me before everyone and their mother opened a brewery because “it’s cool” and “it’s a good investment”. Oh well, I’m 42 and brewing is my life now, so there’s nothing left for me but my own place because I sure am tired of working for people who don’t have the same vision, passion and commitment to quality.
As a person who has worked in supply chain & warehousing for over 12 years (2 & a half years for a canning company) I am geeking out over this video! When we visited last May, it was impressive the Brewhouse & tap room but this is another level! Thanks for sharing & continued success, much love all the way from British Columbia, Canada!
@@treehousebrewco The coffee really is amazing, I just got my first mixed 12pk and was blown away. I'll be drinking it daily going forward, exceptional start to your day.
‘It’s set up for creativity and flexibility’. Man, what an absolute dream! Given market demands and such too, how do you prioritize and balance inventory with this then?
I’m just blown away with the tour and how you run your brewing business! The way you articulate your brewing passion is really inspiring. Looking forward to future videos. Cheers!
I was recently introduced to Treehouse. My niece took me to Charlton and I was blown away! I was so curious about all the spaces and these videos answer all my questions. Keep up the good work and we will continue to make monthly visits from nearby (thank God) Connecticut.
Absolutely love this series. Being from PA, I got introduced to Tree House at Great American Beer Festival pre-covid and was sad that it wasn't distributed. Since then I've made a number of trip up north to this facility and always find something new and interesting going on. This behind the scenes look into all the hard work and effort you've put into your brand it amazing and can't wait for the next vid. Can't wait to enjoy some Green on Sunday for the big game. Go Birds.
Can you do a video about your quality control process and talk about how it was when you started, where you are at today, and what you guys are doing to continuously improve the shelf-life of your beer. Also as a co-founder and CEO from a business perspective, what are some things that you and your team do to continue to stay relevant and where would you like to take Treehouse in the future?
The fact that this was built in 5 months is absolutely mind-blowing. I cannot believe the amount of effort that went into this building. Thanks for being an inspiration.
I'm a brewer from Germany and I have to say that your brewery is a dream for every brewer. Great Videos, great job. Keep it up. I'm looking forward to try the beers in the future.
These videos are really making me want to just move to Massachusetts be a Tree House evangelist and I've never tasted any of your beer in my whole life. The respect for creative control and quality control and forethought in expansion is truly unprecedented. Keep it up and hopefully I get to taste your beer one day.
I cannot wait to try the "brown sauce" in those New American Oak Barrels!!! Also Barrel age some of those coffee beans if you haven't already!!! Bourbon flavoured Coffee... Mmmmm Booourbooon.... It is actually great to see a Brewer being the CEO of a Large company.
Just when you surprise me with all your personalized innovation's, you keep showing us more. thanks for all your hard work and giving us amazing products to enjoy. Don

As a pro brewer that started just as small as you did, and now scaling up, I LOVE this series. Keep doing it! Every new step feels like Christmas morning as a kid!
Inspirational! So many things in development in the warehouse. Your barrel section is mind boggling, it's a science lab for people over 21. Thanks for the tour. Great fun.
The wall where I brew is covered in Treehouse logos from their bags and boxes. They are where I draw alot of inspiration from while I'm creating my own batches.
Jacky! You just shipped something to me this week:) Do y’all have plans for Tin Signs or playing cards? I bet y’all can do some really creative stuff with those and I need to buy them haha
Nate, love the series, perhaps a video that gets into the architecture around the bier hall as well as the the wood structure inside and how nails and screws weren’t used. Great work so far 🍻
The first visit after Charlton opened, we only had access to the area by what's now the classics bar, and it was awesome walking in the first time, seeing the beams and the wooden hops, etc. "Oh my god, they're doing it." I forgot about this until now, but someone might remember, I believe there's an outline on the floor in the classics bar area that outlines the old barn they brewed in.
Would love you guys to open your stores back up to overseas users. Have been wanting to secure some merch to ship to Australia for ages, but am always locked out.
Love the series and the brewery - very nice message inspiring us pretenders to chase the dream! I hope Dan gets it together with all that spillage under the Truth casks!! Keep up the great work ❤
Love the series and looking forward to more. Stoked that I just found out I might have a chance to drive down there this summer (only 800 miles). Hopefully you didn't lose any drones in the making of this video. Cheers!
Hi Nate, excellent video and thank you for showing us around another part of your impressive facility. As a former facilities manager, I was curious to hear about the fire prevention regulations around your distillery. It looks beautiful, all black walls, but what happened to the bottom of your walls? Were those removed for fire safety?
Hi there, thank you - Frankly the budget to tile those walls is limited at the moment so all you are seeing is a bit of unfinished business that will be buttoned up over time.

14:29 after the creative aisle segment.. wanted to ask where/how do you create test batches for new beers before it goes into full production? Love you guys and thanks for opening in Tewksbury! Nice to have TH so close to home
Good question! I had meant to touch upon this in the video - we don't do pilot batches. having brewed countless thousands of batches on our system we have a high degree of confidence in recipe formulation. pilot batches slow down progress for us. if it doesn't work out, we dump it - but that rarely happens.
I love Eurkea Citra in the summer. Such a great crushable beer. Just don't make a rookie mistake I once did and chug several Bright Citra's without realizing I was rapidly getting hammered. BTW, what do I have to do to get a 5 gallon keg of Julius? I want to be the coolest neighbor! Keep up the great work. A former Bigggg Tippppppa in the Monson days :)
love.. having to use Brewfather to manage my homebrew ingredient inventory, I can only imagine what TH has to use to manage that massive inventory stock,
@@treehousebrewco Great, brew on it in the museum behind the glass and do a live TH-cam feed! As Nate would say, "come on guys"! If you're going to do TH-cam like the rest of the big dogs then TH needs to be all in! Come on Nate! :)
honestly, we never say never, but there is still a fair amount of room in the warehouse and we can turn things over faster if we need to (corrugated, merchandise, etc)
