We're getting closer and closer to building our house and can't wait for all our cats to have a much larger area to run around and play in! (Not to mention a yard!!! In Japan!!! We're so grateful for the land we found!) Every time I think Pichi has reached her limit with us she continues to open up even more. At this point I expect that eventually she'll be openly accepting pets and cuddles from everyone! Even with our other cats, none of them really liked being pet until they reached 3-ish years old, and Pichi is still well under that, anyway. I genuinely wonder if Pichi would be traumatized by having to switch households again, so it's just as well if they do keep her. Besides, she's clearly Poki's soul sister.
I knew the family would get too attached too easily. Plus considering the sheer stress Pichi had from being rescued? Yeah there wasn’t a chance they’d put her through that again. I’m lowkey concerned the stress of her kitten hood may have left her with a nasty heart condition.
@@InsaneLaughter01 I don't think there is any such thing as "too attached" when a cat that needs the exactly right home finds it in a foster home. Foster "failures" just means the right home was the initial foster home and often that is a reason to celebrate. Sometimes it also may mean that the foster home is closed to or there is a delay in fostering again - it does not mean the failure is in finding the perfect home.

Oh my yes 😂 ..... and You know ( at least to me) beside being the youngest sibling Pichi gives me the vibe of being that angsty sibling that doesn't integrate much in family gatheringgs ( like the sibling that is in line with the phrase: "oh my God, it came out of its room ...😲 😱" ) , and that the parents don't really get ( and are a little intimidated by, at times ) but are fully supportive and proud never the less.

It's actually not uncommon, if there is multiple cats in a household usually the female is the highest rank, like the lead mare in a herd of horses. As pichi is the only female it is likely she will become top if she stays with them, then haku then probably poki and then prince nagi

Honestly, it's good to see that she'll stand up for herself against Nagi and Haku, but also good to see that she's not generally aggressive towards other cats, since she gets along so well with Poki. It seems promising then that she and the other cats will get along well with time.

Poki still has posttraumatic stress from what he went through as a kitten and is comforting Pichi. I had a cat that did that when a new one was rehomed with us. They were the best of friends and slept together.
Nagi is THAT cold tsundere character in the group. Haku is the gentle giant friend. And Poki is, literally, the sunshine main character. And here we have the whole cast of the new furry anime

That's totally how it is with my two cats. Loki is this huge, fluffy black intimidating looking beast and can be a bit of a bully, but he's sometimes terrified of our other cat, Kyrie, who is so much smaller, but definitely more fearless and feisty. It's pretty funny to see. xD We still have to watch him when they play together because sometimes he can be rough on accident.
I wonder if that's a general trait of bigger cats, because mine is also sort of like that. He pushes his sister around most of the time, just because he weighs so much more than her, but when she actually decides to stand up for herself, he loses all his courage xD
See it happening on the street with the strays all the time. But in cases I've seen the smaller cat almost always turns out to be female and if it's with another female, the younger one tends to win.

I think Poki is closest to Pichi because he's a fellow stray so understands the anxiety and stresses that she's probably had to deal with. It's why he's a completely off the wall derp machine, but super gentle and understanding with Pichi, making her feel safe and welcome, as Rach and Jun have with him

I used to have a giant orange tabby named EllieMay & she would wait for my 55lb pitbull to go to the back door & would sit at the end of the hall & block him & when I say this dog would CRYYY bc she was blocking him 😂😂😂 we always knew she was doing it bc you would just hear him start whining & crying about it
I have an orange cat and if you sit in his chair he will attack your ankles cats are definitely great but completely arseholes
I had an orange Maine coon named little bit and every night when I walked the dog around the block he would follow us sneakily and in the last stretch he would race ahead to the bushes in front of my house so he could explode out and jump on her head as we crossed the lawn lol
