Twinkie! 😭 I have been waiting for a video for so long. You are my absolute crochet icon! I just love you and your work ❤️ thank you for taking the time to share this and your creativity.
Daughter asked me to make this for college finals week: I'm going to need Emotional Support after sewing all these bits together! #trusting the pattern...
OMG!!!!!!! That was a very difficult pattern! I finally finished it and will setup my photo studio and post a picture on instagram. Yay thank you for bringing your cheer this crazy year!
A good alternative to the back lid is just tying the hinges together and leaving the lid itself unsewn; gives it a more realistic look and functional look :)
Hi!! Yeah... I haven't posted since March 2019 I think... hehe, no time to make videos at this point in life. This one took forever!!! Hope people like it :).
@@TwinkieChanTV I've been a fan for years! Your cute food inspired crochet creations opened my eyes to the infinite possibilities of crochet! Your videos continue to inspire me everyday! I was genuinely sad when you stopped making videos I love your content, it's changed my life forever!
@@Mintyeon470 Aww! I'm so glad that you get to explore crochet more and more :). Shooting and editing videos really does take a lot of time that I idon'thave a lot of now that I work full time, but I always love reconnecting with my TH-cam pals :).
Sorry TwinkieChan, but I have not seen this at all (you help me out so much, so I don't miss everything) Thank you And I love this little guy you made! Can't wait to make 1 of my own Thanks again, and Merry Christmas
my wife is so happy happy happy that you are crochet again.. thankyou ... maybe this is just a USA thing but we Canadain have not head of this... .what do we look under to find this please and thank you
Hi! I'm not sure what you are looking for. The meaning of dumpster fire? I think a quick google search should be helpful. It's basically a referent to a hot mess.
twinkie, do you usually YO when you crochet your amagarumi projects? I have been reading and watching that YU is better for amagarumi projects. Do you have a preference? Does it matter? I have noticed when I YU my stitches are tighter and less poly fill shows through the finished project. This pattern was so fun to make and watch. I have two friends that requested their very own dumpster fire. thanks for sharing your talents.
Hi! This is a great question. I'm old school and I YO. I think it's a new-ish/trendy thing to YU. I don't really believe in a "better" or "worse" when it comes to crochet, just like how people hold their yarn or their hooks. If it gets the job done the way you like it, then that's the one for you :).
I just finished mine and i used a 2.5 mm hook and its so tiny and adorable, I also didnt see the flame plushie into the sink/bucket, and i kinda want to make like a tiny something to go into the dumpster i just dont know what i could make that would also be recognisable at such a tiny scale, like the front is probably 5cm wide😅
Appreciate the pattern and tutorial. This turned out great after making the pattern make sense.... but I don't understand why in the world would you make the top panel before the flame bucket 🤬😡 totally messes up the flow of your pattern having to work around a live stitch to do the final teal piece... Seems it would be way smarter to do your bucket, break that off, then do your panel so you can just keep going with teal rather than having to work with the opposite end of the yarn or have a second skein laying around . Just my 2 cents
Thanks for your 2 cents! Even if you made the bucket first, I think you'd still have to deal with the live stitch while sewing the bucket into the panel. Of course people could also always break everything off and re-join for Assembly.
I just typed in crochet trash can. And then YOU actually had a video on it!!! Can't believe it. So dope.
Yay! Happy to be here for you!
