Exactly a year ago I started my drone shooting from this St Audrie's bay!!
This time I went back with my DJI Air 2S and had brief filming over the bay. I wish I could do more but it was a friend and family visit so a little managed :-)

Saint Audrie's Bay
West Quantoxhead, Taunton TA4 4DP
Set at the foot of the Quantock Hills is the wide bay of St Audries. A mix of flat pebbles, sand, shingle and rock this is one of the best beaches in the area.
As with all the beaches on this stretch of coast, the sand gets muddier towards the sea and the waters of the Bristol Channel are distinctly murky.
One of the nicest features of St Audries Bay is the two waterfalls which cascade down the cliffs along the back of the beach.
Access is via a path leading down from the local holiday park, which also provides parking and a shop.
Whilst the path is well maintained it is still a bit of a hike down a fair number of steps to the beach.

It's amazing that the color of the beach on both sides is different based on the protruding cliff! It's amazing that there is no sandy beach on one side! 👍

Many thanks! Glad you enjoyed this footage! You are geologically correct about cliff's formation. This is one of fossil hunting location where scientist still finding a lot interesting items. Mostly created from seabed. Also, site is slighly in risk now for sliding and rock falls.

@@CoastalBird same for me mate I work but only part time, and have to keep the kids busy all the time! Wife’s always at work! I always have issues catching up with comments. TH-cam is so time consuming but I do it for the history and my drone flights like you are for my fun. I struggle to see the point in uploading hours of nothing or streaming others content, for the pure purpose to get monitised….warm more money working unless you have over 100k subs
@@RaymondoLeeTravel Agree, YT is very time consuming and it's difficult to cope up with comments. Sometimes comments do not even appear in the notification and then I find it later in YT studio. Anyway it's good to keep the kids busy, that helps! Lol 100K sub is a dream! It requires another level of efforts. At this mo I am sure we all happy as we are! Just create content whatever makes you happy 😉
