yeah - char kuey teow is the test dish - as at th-cam.com/video/RDx9x12XR3w/w-d-xo.html - but that doesn't look as good as the famous old man street stall in Georgetown last time I was there in 2001. I'll guess he's passed on - dunno how his son has carried on the business around there ...

it looks very unhygienec. The oil is black in colour and some of the hawkers use their bare hands to handle the food. A potential diarrhea explosion waiting to happen. Even if the food is free, I will not consider to consume.
