Lamborghini calls the Urus a super-SUV - or SSUV for short. But is that really the case? Sharing a platform with the Audi Q8, Bentley Bentayga, Porsche Cayenne and even the Volkswagen Touareg, is the 2021 Urus a true Lambo? It may wear “Bull” number plates, but we’ll be the judge of whether this car really is worth five hundred grand as it sits here in Verde Mantis green - and that’s before on-road costs.
Should you be considering a Lamborghini Urus if you want a fast SUV - and money is no object? Or does a Cayenne Turbo make more sense? What about a Rolls-Royce Cullinan or Bentley Bentayga Speed? Or, should you wait for the forthcoming Ferrari SUV?

I think I saw this in a previous comment but now I think I must let it out too: the slow motion sections of the car during a bend while the engine sounds are played looks a bit out of sync and distracting. Love your reviews! Keep it up! :)

Me too have seen that plate on a white Urus couple of years ago in East Brisbane.
Why did you show the firing order on the engine when you said it was individually numbered? Is it really numbered elsewhere or was that a mistake?
Those black wheel arch cladings look identical to those on the RAV4.

I love this SUV because it's fast and it is good in offroading but not the best offroader but for a fast SUV that's insane offroader it offroads almost good and it's so comfortable to ride Mmm totally it's a nice SUV . That what I have to say .and its design is Awesome the taillights are sooo cool and have such a cool interior anyway I love this SUV sooo soooo much. My dream SUV as a child.

This car just had to be in my favourite colour and I'm sorry for $390,000 +you would think you would get way more than 3 years warranty I want 10 years plus free servicing 🤣🤣
It’s great but that price is ridiculous ! Not for the average Joe ...Got to be a multi millionaire for this one; at least in Australia. It’s probably cheaper in the US , but it would still be for a multi millionaire . Like you said, many other great options at less than half the price . I mean , I could understand $250,000 to $300,000 but almost half a million dollars! That’s a LOT of cash.
Has anyone notice how slow the urus was driven on the outside shots of the video? I guess I will try it at 20km/h as well given that is almost half a million bucks!😂

I think that rich people should request is that supercars MUST come with a 7 year guarantee at least. 3 years is very bad, for a super premium car like that

You've got more money than me if your getting that second hand... I'd be lucky to be the tenth 😂.
But that's the reason the manufacturer doesn't offer it, it's highly expensive for them to maintain a 4yr old performance car.
And doing so will not get them more sales because the people buying them don't care.

I'd be buying the Stelvio Quadrifoglio over this regardless of my budget. This is just simply the pinnacle of gaudy. I can only see the cashed up soccer star wives and Paris Hilton driving this. But in hot pink.
A few around where I live, saw one at Coles today, no soccer moms, all fresh off the plane.

Sure if you don't mind ruining the paint and alloys. Few people take a New Range Rover offroad and I doubt many will take this offroad.

I'm at a loss why anybody would buy such a vehicle? Half a million, the only reason l can think of is, look at me, its called "conspicuous expenditure" been a thing since medieval times. I'm also at a loss as to why you are reviewing this vehicle when only a very small percentage of people could buy it?
why not? It’s a very good overall car... performance, looks, tech, practicality.
I chose to review it because to understand how good a vehicle is relative to the benchmark, you need to intimately understand the state of the art.

People can admire art without having to be able to afford it.
If you can afford it, why not? These cars are technology leaders and envelope pushers not possible in shopping trolleys ,"racing improves the breed" look it up. Without these types of vehicles you wouldn't have half the stuff in your $20k car.

@@almac9203 go visit the throttlehouse channel.. they did multiple runs with a urus vs trackhawk.. the jeep one every time
@@RossReviewsau go to Hennessy Performance and you will see the Urus beat the Jeep in multiple runs. In the Throttle house races they mentioned the Urus had problems with their tyres and wasn't launching properly. No the trackhawk is definitely not faster.
The struggle with Lambo and SUV in the same sentence. No matter how much badge you put on a goldfish it will never climb a tree. This is NOT a supercar, it is nothing more than a tarted up Audi and the purest form of uber rich soccer mum transport to get to an overpriced nail salon while posting selfies of botox treatments in her activewear. No guy with a modicum of self respect would be seen in this abomination let alone buy one. Is Urus short for Uterus?
