I think there was a similar glitch discovered in a previous Crushing Through team event whereby going innto the garage to change vehicle selection triggered it but I can't remember the exact sequence now.
It was something like select vehicle on start line, go into garage and change to another, come back to start line and select original vehicle again. Something like that anyway.
