I did Taxidermy as a hobby and for friends, my work was my advertisements, actually went to a private school to learn the extra tricks to mounting animals, especially fish. it was well worth the money, enjoyed doing fish the most, got less complaints, always took several pics before skinning out an animal. you did a nice job. nice video.
@Cj Nuwe Well i was lucky, when i was a kid, We had the North west school of taxidermy home study but they are long gone, later, classes were held at Purdue University extension school, a local taxidermist taught them but after that i bought videos. the only school i can remember was Dale Reinhart, just Google taxidermy schools and if there are any they will come up, also check out taxidermy catalogues, they have a lot of info. I don't know how old you are but maybe a local taxidermist might need help and he would teach you. the hardest part if you are not a hunter is getting animals to mount, Good luck
Conner Grant you can pay the extra $5.00 per inch for a mount. But i wont. Id rather club a trophy 40in pike than pay a extra $200 dolars for the fish I caught. Tell the replica guys to reduce their mounting prices and I'll start throwing them back. Until the greedy replica guys are cheaper. I'm going to keep Clubing trophy fish. Why. Because that's the max amount that I can afford for a mount
Excellent work!
