The competition is over now with more than 700 players and 2000+hours of playtime! I’ll arrange another similar but even better competition in the future!
@@lorriethelorrikeetThen the winner will be the best player that managed to pass the noob test, or a good player that asked a friend that never played tm to "qualify" as a noob until the competition (on a new account), to then take the commands and do the absolute minimum to win without showing too much. The only way to make a competition where everyone can win is on a full rng map and do a short competition (so that someone with more spare time cqn’t get an advantage by playing more). Proove me wrong, but i really don’t think there’s a good way to do it without being full rng, otherwise there will be way to bypass the noob test, and even then, place the bar a tiny bit lower or higher and you’ll get another winner
@@lorriethelorrikeet And how do you think you could make a competition that noobs would do better than PROS? I get that fantasy sounds good in your head but how do you pull it off?
Seeing the TM pros play before actually trying the game yourself really sets into perspectives levels of skill required to compete in this beautiful game... GG to the pros that make people like me want to play TM. I'd never complain about never being able to win when trying your best is all the game has ever been about 👏
It's a 'competition' where you would have to be in the top 10% of the world to even have a chance to win it. Thats like putting Bronze rank on rocket league against a Grand Champion. You wouldn't stand a chance
My issue with all different game tournaments is that a lot of participants don't know the color of grass so you simply will not win if you are just a simple human being with responsibilities like a job.
The guys who dressed up with suits was started from ppl in my year in my school, it was the day after formal and they still had suits so they said fuck it
4:30 yo.... I'm unhealthily underweight and my metabolism rate is so absurd that I literally have to consume ~4,000 calories per day just to gain weight... And I cannot. I could eat two large fast-food pizzas per day and not gain weight but still take on the unhealthy side effects of consuming that much cholesterol, grease, fats, etc... I tried this mass gainer that was ~2,000 calories, 90g protein, and 250g carbs per serving and would mix it with Fairlife whole milk (ridiculously nutrient packed milk in America), 2 raw eggs, 2tbsp oil, and whatever fruits/veggies were suitable (spinach and cucumber are underrated)... I kid you not as soon as I finished drinking it, I'd pass out. Every time, without fail. It's so many carbs and calories, it simply puts you to sleep like a toddler eating McDonald's for the first time. I couldn't even keep at it, either. I still didn't have the appetite to consume enough nutrients to help me gain weight
For one glass to be 1500 Kcal. (lets asume 400 ml) it would have to be 50% fat ATLEAST. And even than, all grams would have to be nutritious. So im gonna call bullshit
how is the score calculated here @Wirtual? If the result is average record wouldn't that mean that you shouldn't finish any run that is far below your top times such as learning runs as they'll have a disproportionate effect on your average, no? Or is it something like a weighted average or mean record?
It’s the average position of all of your PBs at the end of the event, not your average finish time. You can finish a run when you are slow, if you did faster before it doesn’t chabge anything on your PB time
Wirtual was resetting when he made mistakes. It looked like the design was meant to be that most maps were difficult to do quickly/fluidly, but if you messed up you didn't need to full reset. You could still keep going and complete the map. So things like the bugslides were necessary for a fast time, but not necessary for a finish.
kacky competition where ANYONE (who already has been good at kacky for a good while) can win (second place if they spend the 100 hours like everyone else) fixed your title boss
A kacky competition that anyone could win should not be like purely lucky based then ? So anyone could get their chance, because to the look of the maps i m seeing, it still seems skill based. Lovely idea tho
less anyone can win, TM is a skill based game so the better player wins more often and more it's accessible to the ppl who dont play kakky religiously.
There are 3 major problems : 1 : How do you decide what is a noob ? There’s absolutely no objective criteria. So you will end up giving a prize to the "best of the noobs you allowed". As long as it’s skilled, the best one will win, and even if you ban let’s say the 50% best, you will reward the top 50.0001% guy (same if you picket the limit to be 75 or 90%) 2 : How to be sure that nobody’s cheating ? It will be really easy for any pro player to ask a friend that never played the game to qualify as a noob (with a new account), then take the commands right after the organizer confirmed he was a noob. And then he will have to hide his true level while still being first, i really think a few good players will be able to stay undercover. Let’s remember the time when wirtual played cotd undercover (and got top 2), most saw this new name pop up, but i don’t think anybody said "Mufat has to be a pro playing with another name" 3 : It won’t have a positive impact in the person doing that if they are already known. If a streamer does that, there will probably be many players, but who’s gonna watch the stream ? Players that were told "you are not bad enough sorry" won’t watch it, while noobs will play without listening to the stream and the viewer count will be low. Not talking about the cashprize, if there’s less than 50$ it won’t be interesting, while if there’s more it won’t be worth it and the organizer will lose money, while also having a drama right after because "the winner was too good he wasn’t a noob" The only solution for these 3 problems is, i believe, to make it a full rng competition while allowing anyone to participate and the winner will most likely not be a pro. But then why would you make it on tm if you can do this in marbles on stream that’s already made for it ?
@@quentind1924 Is it possible to make a room that kicks players after they finish so everyone only gets one shot? That could make it much easier for anyone to win.

A kacky competition where everyone can finish maps? Hell yeah! We call this "Short RPG". It exists since 2008 in TMNF btw
