After searching a couple of months the only option was Emirates via Dubai (!) First leg: 7 hrs. Layover in transit zone of Dubai airport: 23 hrs. Second leg: 6 hrs. TOTAL: 36 hrs for a flight that usually takes 2 hrs 40 min (max). I will hopefully be going back to Hanoi soon, so this is really helpful.

The airlines should already know and will be expecting you - so no worries there. Just make sure you print out all the documents. Most hospital will have RT PCR test available, do a search online for the one closet to you and call them - I went to the one in Ekkamai.

Nope. You just need a sponsoring company. Either as an employee or investor. With the correct paperwork to prove it.
