What happened here in a nutshell was: A T9 MT positioned himself in some OP location, then started raining poorly aimed shells on poorly selected targets. Had the aiming been not so lazy and lame, his platoon mate would have probably survived. After taking advantage of the OP position, he rolled back down (quite awkwardly he had to waste his repair kit) and then took care of the remaining isolated, lower-tiered tanks. The End
