Tip: I used the same yarn size and hook for both, however one is bulkier than the other so I just made 4-12-10 instead of 4-14-12 and it’s looking good so far! :)

If you're making this and you struggle to remember to sc in the first and last stitch, add a stitch marker to each one to remind you. And if you get distracted too easily with counting the stitches every every row to remember where exactly the moss stitch begins and ends, also add stitch markers there too. In total, you'd only be using 4 markers and you'd just be moving them up as you go.

@@kathylovely1035 Hello, I started with 25 chains and measured on my daughter's hand to see if it was long enough to cover her hand and her wrist. Then for a row 8sc, 12 of the middle pattern, 4sc. I did enough rows so that when I folded it, the width covered her fingers and her palm.

Hi! I want to make these as little gifts for my siblings this winter - I know they will love them and incorporate them into their games! Just curious, does the original chain determine the size of the glove? Like if I made these for my 9yr old sister, she would need a smaller fit, so I would do less chains, and therfore less stitches around? Hope that makes sense. I love all of your patterns!

Hi!!! I'm starting the pattern but I'm realizing that something is wrong in the explanation or I misunderstood. what happens is that I did the 31 chains, then the 3 sc (starting in the second chain), then the 14 even moss st but then you say that we continue with 12 sc when according to my calculations there are 13 chains left over and finished the second row you say to do 3 sc in the back loop and then a normal sc but I can't make that sc because there are no more stitches in the first row to make that stitch. I hope you understand my doubt and can explain to me😭 tysm for the pattern is beautiful!!!!

What is the best way to make the pattern for the glove longer?
