It seems like the guy just bought this car used recently. Because these kinds of excitement only comes with new buyers I own BMW 320D used bought it 3 years back I like it but after a while its nothing exciting also same with other actual owners of other luxury cars you'll just get bored of them.

And I think in your case you just have this ONE luxury car and that too used, so I can understand your lack of excitement, firstly buying used and then driving the same car day in and day out....
