In our nearly last installment of UTV World Champs video we get some California dunes redemption and have an incredible day ripping out at Dumont sand dunes!

great content buds...still in disbelief that this channel hasn't blown up. 18k subscribers is unjust.. some of these other UTV ass-hats have 150K+...WTF is wrong with people. Leonardo did it best in Sous' Turba S delivery video, all these other clowns doing walkarounds of the same SxS in every damn video...we get it bro, you are proud of you unit...cool. they could all stand to watch some of the SXSblog videos and learn shoot some wrench/ride/rip/shop/humor content...although you cant substitute the hosts- Leonardo, Doug & Sous are awesome.

This was my of my favorite videos. When you dune dumont right you can’t beat it. Glamis is forever dune, dumont is aggressive. Congrats 🎈on a great trip.

Great video. I live n Pahrump Nv. witch is 45 miles from Dumont Dunes ive been there hundreds of times
Under further inspection the xp has really small tires on the front (26 or shorter) bottoms on approach a few times but never on landing while the x3s bottomed on the skid numerous times and the front wheeles were bouncing and shuttering like they had free movement left
Brian Lewis no not mad just talking. It's all good I'll stop watching if you don't like conversation. 70 ft jump. Nice. Prolly scary. Of course everyone out there is doing that. Landed like a cloud because it was sand and only 70 ft. The proof is in the video the skid plate hits the sand more than not.actully the last long jump landed on it's back wheels and didint look like it bottomed out. Not gonna argue look like y'all had fun . Don't really see the point in sxs blog without conversation but whatever
Passing on In-N-Out and going to Del Taco has to be a sin. LOL. In-N-Out is always worth the wait.

Haha, the YXZ definitely has it's work cut out trying to keep up these days. Power was okay for Dumont but definitely could have used more.
Would be awesome to hang out with you guys and ride the dunes if you ever make it to sand mountain in northern nevada.

Ha,, Ha,, The old tecopa Hwy. My Grand-Dad drove that road back in 1940 to get Vegas. It's a 1 1/2 faster than the Shoshone Rd. to get to 160- tecopa Hwy. I've been to the hot springs a lot. Love your vid's keep have fun...

Hard to tell in the video how big those dunes are. Obviously not been there myself, but the Oregon dunes between Coosbay and Florence are awesome. Some are tall enough that you get pause... as if you just bit off more than your machine can climb. If you havent experienced the Oregon dunes you need to before the enviro-nazis finally get them closed.
Classic good time at Silver Lake Sunday. The Turbo S was looking and flying sweet. Nick's new ant farm looked killer.

My comment wasn't that it didn't have it. It's that some of it is above the skid plate . So when you land a jump it bottoms out before you use it. Or at least that's what I see
Theres also tire compression to take into account and the fact that the sand moves as you drive through it.

Dumont is my favorite for big dunes with long fun lines . Little Sahara utah and St. Anthony Idaho are 2 more you guys have to go too.👍

Look at 905 it bottoms on approach
I understand that on approach however those adjustments don't change travel. Just tightens it up so it doesn't want to travel to high. My point is what if you were to use all that upward travel the geometry of the front end with 32 inch tires would bottom you out on the skid plate before the shock took full compression meaning it leaves about 2 inches of unusable travel with factory tires . That's what is meant by usable travel. It's all marketing ploys. But canam has built a machine that will sit on it's belly while landing big jumps. Doesn't matter . X3 probly still has the edge on turbo s .But very similar machines. Turbo s has the suspension set up higher for more usable travel without sitting on it's belly at full compression and more ground clearanc. But prolly doesn't handle as well. However Polaris will sell more because there machine is more factory capable. Will perform the best in all environments except racing and from what I hear those shocks help a lot. Just my 3 cents. Gonna be hard to compare the new turbo s to the Mav. You can't hardly find an x3 without 10000 worth of aftermarket parts

Hey nick how come you always use the grey key that is the half power key,and green is full power.
It depends how the dealer programs it as to which key is which. The grey key is actually supposed to be the performance key per the manual, and that's how Nick's is programmed.

I don't own one so I haven't measured one . So maybe it has 24 in. Before it bottoms out on skid (doesn't look like it) and then another 3 inches of unusable.
