    Your expertise on stones is unmatched Eric ! I totally agree synthetics are so reliable for expert or beginner. But for comfort a good natural is unbeatable. 😊

    Now that’s a very nice looking rare stone. I can’t say I’ve ever seen one honed on till now. That Shapton set must be nice for travel.

      It was a game changer. Thankful JPO recommended it. It’s nice to have a set and just my Coti to rely on. For heavy corrections, can’t be synthetics

      I do enjoy my G7s, when JPO gives you advice, you take it. He knows his stones and makes this shit look easy. These are perfect for me to take with me to work. Next full set I buy will be the Rockstar. Full sizes and supposed to be the name abrasive as the G7s. Thanks for watching.

      It feels like a Thuringian, but it’s not. Has really good feedback. The shave was up there with a Thuri, maybe a touch smoother and keener. It’s a keeper for me.

      It’s been on my list for a while, it’s a unique French slate. There is some intro in the description.

    Another display of a great progression Eric!! I like those G-7’s so much I just ordered a set of 4 different ones. The ones you have, plus the .85. (JPO recommended👍🏼)
    Now I’m trying to find the base..
    Sharpening supplies is out of stock..

      You’re going to like them. Hard, fast and easy to use. They narrow so you can really go town on some corrections if needed. Great little addition to the toolbox. My rule of thumb is, if JPO recommends it, get it. Follow the advice of the cat’s who know, not the talking heads.

    Thanks for the video. Are you going to get your hands on a Crete stone, from Grease next?
    Thanks again for sharing and I hope you have a good one.

      There is a thread on B&B “Mystery Stone” that I first heard about these but never could find one. This one kind of fell in my lap.

      @@Eric_TheCajunBlade I use my G7 stones allot. To me they feel harder then the full sized glass stones.

    • @Eric_TheCajunBlade

      @ they fast and fun sized, just like the ladies I enjoy, that’s all that I care about. 😜

    Hi Eric. 1,2 is 8k. Up to 8k in like 5 minutes 🙂 would you recommend these g7 stones to a beginner? Have a good one

    • @Eric_TheCajunBlade
      @Eric_TheCajunBlade  22 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      G7s are the smaller version of the shapton glass stones and the Rock stars. I use them for travel. They are very good stones and I would recommend them for anyone. That razor was in good shape and this was a rest on 2k, 5k, 11k then to a natural. But I don’t mess around, no reason to try to make honing look difficult like some. Synthetics are easy and straight forward, just follow the numbers. I think you would be very happy with any of the shapton glass products
