So since there was a raiding story among these, I just have to ask something: What is fun about wiping a hundred times on every boss? To me, i.e. someone who has no experience with proper raiding, this sounds like utter torture. Not to mention that the game cockblocks you by only allowing one run per week.
You can extend times, so if you get to Blackhand on a monday you can keep that progress for wednesday. Wiping a hundred times gets you really jittery in the final 5% when you finally kill it, and oh god that satisfaction from the kill.
It all depends on what your outlook on raiding is. My guild was stuck on Kromog HC the last 2 lockouts, a solid 40 wipes before we got him down. In the beginning, we could only get him to about 60% at our best tries and then we would die. But with every wipe you get a bit better at the boss. That's why it's called *progression* raiding, because you naturally progress on each boss. Personally though, I don't raid because I want to prove my skillz, I raid because I'm in a good guild where we are all friends and I moreso enjoy our interraction more than I like the actual raiding. Lastly, I advice you to join a proper raid team and try it out, it really isn't as bad as it may sound.
Why are games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne so good? Why do people climb mountains? Finally accomplishing something that was difficult feels good. It's not that complicated.
moyga If you're dying dozens of times to the same boss in DS then you're doing something wrong, and when you're failing to get up the same mountain dozens of times then you've chosen the wrong hobby. With only bing able to run a raid once a week and the endless wipes, progressing through that system just feels agonizingly slow to me. It's such a stark contrast to the leveling and 5-man content, which for the most part you can do as much of per week as you want.
I had to pause at 18 mins just to say...... Wet wipes are great, but 2 dry 1 wet is not right.....it should be one dry, one wet, one dry.... always end with dry...i can't stand having a wet anus....maybe it's just me, idk....
Wet wipes FTW! They are a life changer! Taking a shit has never been less shitty.
i cannot agree more, getting toilet wipes, and using them along with normal toilet paper, glorious butthole.
