very unfortunate, disaster for environment.. instead of focusing on public transport, designing a policy to reduce vehicles on the road... losing foreign reserves to car making companies and importing oil, what a waste of peoples money. sad
How is it waste of money. Since long it is the requirement of Islamabad residents as it created a lot of traffic congestion. This Interchange will make the flow of traffic very smooth and the commuters will be free of morning and evening rush hours headache.
@@babarkhan-vd6dp The construction of new infrastructure, can indeed provide short-term solutions for traffic congestion but may contribute to long-term challenges. By focusing on expanding roads and interchanges, cities miss the opportunity to invest in public transportation systems that could move larger numbers of people more efficiently and with a smaller carbon footprint. Perhaps roads are more important than the other social welfare projects like education, health, enviornment, reduction of poverty etc
Where do you live? I live in Islamabad and am working in the red zone. I go through the difficulties everyday to reach my office. The Serena interchange is going to make thousands of people's lives easier. Don't talk nonsense.

Islamabad has excellent public transportation. the Serena underpass has been a long-standing necessity.
