Thank you for the video. I understand the time and efforts required to make such a video tutorial but then again, one should exercise utmost caution as many novices might follow the steps mentioned to the letter and would not be knowing anything else about private IP addresses, how to set IP addresses of their LAN/Wifi adapters etc. making them struck. The most important steps are left out such as how to connect to the range extender after changing its IP address and also disabling DHCP. I found the music to be quite distracting, but might be suitable for others.
at first it didnt work for me because i've change the channel same in your tutorial, after many tries the wds worked... I didnt change the channel configuration.. thank you for this tutorial Sir kudos!
Very nicely explained steps. The video would be more clear if it also explained that the step 3 of changing IP is to bring the devices into same network. And in step 4, the default gateway should be the IP of the primary router. But, never mind, its a Great video..and thanks a lot for the effort NET VN.

Thank you, all went perfect but only after initially resetting the repeater router and the following all steps. My main router has the ip 192.168.100.1 and i set-up the tp link repeater as 192.168.100.156 and it works wonders.

In the video the DHCP is off, so we need to manually configure the IP in each of the devices. I am able to connect to the Wifi of the new device using this, but unable to connect to the internet. Can you let me know what I may be missing ?

You have to fix a channel numer like 1 to 10 . Any number both of your router. Example : 1. Change your main router channel from auto to 1. 2. Change the channel of 2nd router also 1. *please change the main router cannel from auto. Because in auto mode it frequently changes its channel when it lost power. For this reason the secondary router can not connot connect to the main router because of different channel number. Thank you.

I tried all these but I don't seem to understand why my own case is different. Once I disable the DHCP server in the secondary router I just can't log in to the assigned IP address and neither will it have an internet connection from the primary router! So I did all the steps correctly, did same thing over and over 3 times, after i reset and start from the beginning, No internet, same router same process, what could it be ??? I solved it, I didnt change the IP '192.168.0.1' to 196.168.1.254' (step 3) instead to '192.168.0.254' now i can login as admin, but after a while i have no internet connection when i connect to the bridge router. But i can restart it from the admin menu and then it works again..
i am v happy after see this video . But when i done this job. after i cant open my tplink modem again i use same ip which u use 192.168.1.254 but my modem is not open with this ip what ll i do ?

I do this approach for a while now with one issue : I have to turn off the repeater router every few hours to regain internet access again!

Even I’m facing the same problem....after turning dhcp off when router restarts im unable to connect 192.168.1.254
Try changing the WDS type from Auto to WDS1 or WDS 2.
