With your success in the cart, midget and your experience in sprints I would love to see you at the Tulsa shootout to get more track time to possibly get a driller and help you for the chili bowl. Hopefully someone sees that and offers you a ride next year
You are an amazing young man brutally honest with adversity and all of the aspects of racing which is a sport of 90 percent failure!!! Love watching you mature and take us racing!!! GOOD LUCK IN ALL ASPECTS OF LIFE!!!!
One thing I love about the Shawnee race is the announcer also does pit reporting during the shootout and the chilli bowl. But what’s even cooler is he actually calls the he race while driving in the stock flat class.
Nice run dude. Love watching these karts, really shows good driver skill over just machinery.
I've been waiting for you to post what happened with this race. I know you were busy with the chili bowl and I kinda heard what happened in an interview you did but I want to see it for myself. ✌

I check MRP, the highest points scored in the qualifiers was Reno Madore. Apparently went 10th to 3rd in the 2nd qualifier.

Heat Race : When you got the 4th spot the guy you went by could have been a jerk and ruined your day.
Probably a dumb question, but why is the engine on the right side of the car? I'm from the east coast in micro sprint country. I know early on some had right side engines, but they all went to the left for weight distribution. Keep up the great videos & I hope to see you at Port Royal again.
You answered your own question.
Driver is much heavier than the motor, running it on the left side means you move the driver more centerline, which also means less left side weight. Not to mention things like coolant lines usually run to the right side of most motors, and headers usually come out to the right side. Lots of reasons lol.
In the Micros the motor weighs more than the driver, so the motor is on the left side.
In the Outlaw karts, the driver weighs more than the motor, so driver is on the left side.
The driver weighs more than the engine, so havin the driver left is better for speed and roatation.
The chassis is built offset in circle track racing for karts. The driver is literally about 3 inches from the left side rail. It's designed to have the engine on the right side. Hope this helps. The road course karts art built what we call straight rail. No offset for right turns .
