    I love seeing old iron saved,in this case this is saving old iron taken to the extreme. I will follow your channel..

    Back when the iron was thick enough the rust can't kill it.

    Do you know who made that engine? Was it the same company? I have one that’s identical to that one, has a few casting numbers but no manufacturer. I’m just curious

    The rust has killed any chance of it ever working again but it might be able to run with a new boiler and just enough weight to tension the cable ropes.

      My plan is to make it dig again, with all 3 steam engines rebuildable and a different boiler that part is good. For the steel I’m replacing the bad beams and to have is structural safe to run.

      The rust didn't kill her. she's still strong enough and there's more than enough solid iron left to save and work with to restore her.
