    Man, that planer and jointer moving around when you were working…. I’ve been there. I respect the hard work and a beautiful piece made with what you have. Too many people get discouraged watching videos of the pros with $100k in tools.

    Fantastic work. They look great. I'd pick up some cabinet liner for under that towel. It might help you not having to fight it as much. Dollar tree has small rolls of it.

    nice design. great finished product and you covered all the key steps. keep up the channel and it will grow with you.

    You did an amazing job. You might want to consider less plaining and using the table saw to cut them down closer to the correct final thickness and planing as one of the final steps. You might get some ideas on different designs looking in to how they make inlays.

      Yeah I didn’t originally plan to plain them down that much but my band saw hates me so that’s why I had to plain them down a lot

    Those look really nice. Maple and Walnut don't just look good together, they feel good because they are close to the same density and hardness.
